Election leaves power vacuum, crisis ensues

Utera, Walkunia- The dissolution of the reigning Malivia Civic Forum after unanimously calling for early elections has left the country stunned. The second ranking Malivia Progressive Party took every seat in the country with 99% of the vote. However, MPP election officials had not had time to register their candidate for President, leaving an empty election. The power vacuum has led to riots in the streets as the people demand that the National Forum take action to instill authority. Party chair and ranking Forum member Abram Green has announced that an emergency vote has been created to call once again for early elections, and this time he says, everything is in place for the candidates. Party nominee James Knupp commented on the situation.

"What you have is that our party was thrown into power, and we didn't even have a say in it. The executive branch was cleaned out completely. Even the cabinet was wiped out. I can assure you that once this election is over, regardless of whether or not I'm president, there are going to be some major changes in the way things have operated."

The call for early elections is expected to pass unanimously, as every member of the MPP has pledged to vote for it. It is yet to be seen how the Independent Candidates vote towards the measure, or if they will at all.
