From Dawn Till Dusk

Sekowo, Shirotaku, 2834

Tatsude used to enjoy the beauty of the rice-fields near the small agricultural town he had lived in his entire life. He had a good relationship with rice, they allowed it to grow and took care of the seedlings, and in return rice took care of them and helped them to live and grow.

At those times many had left the town to work in the larger cities in other parts of Sekowo, even Tatsude’s uncle, but his family had stayed on these ancient lands of Gao-Showa, their own people. His forefathers had moved as colonists from Gao-Soto centuries ago, and soon it would be his turn to continue their way of life.

Tatsude had learned in school all about the megalomaniac plans of the Democratic Socialist Party, their utopian promises to turn Sekowo into techno-heaven, but the reality was different. They lived poor lives by Artanian standard, but they did not need anything more than they had as the land provided them everything. Paychecks from manufacturing would have drawn many others to work for companies such as Seko-Cola, but Tatsude was different. He loved their little piece of land, far away safe from the evils of Terra. But terra had other plans, as on June 12th, 2834, Caltion Chemcials opened a factory and production line near their village. They all went to attend the opening ceremonies, white men in suits held speecehs on how much this factory would bring wealth and prosperity to them. The company would donate lots of money to the local schools for better education, build a hospital so no-one needed to drive hundred miles to reach the closest clinic. Together with the crowd, Tatsude cheered for them. They might not be Sekowan, but they were welcomed as friends.

Zardugal, Belgae, Now

He was Itagaki Tadasue, Director-General of Zardugal. Or Tadasue Itagaki, like the Zardugali would write it, with surname after the first name. When he came to Zardugal decades ago, he would have never believed to see something like this happening to him. But world works in mysterious ways, as his home, the land that he was born on, had followed him to become Zardic. The land he thought he had left behind.

Tatsude filled his glass with Rildanorian cognac, a bad habit he used to relieve stress. Many believed they were standing at a crossroad, what would happen in the following days would set up the tone for future. Yoshinori and others rooted for violence, possibly for civil war and revolution, but that could be avoided. No, it must be avoided.

(OOC: Here we go again, now after few posts I should get rid of the RP-rust. )
