Strange Happenings at Constitution House

Postby Commonwealth Party » Sat Jun 26, 2010 2:46 pm

In the small hours on a Sunday, no one should have been there, which was the first hint to Mrs. Jane Paulson, a pensioner who lived across the street from Constitution House, the headquarters of the New Constitutional Republican Party. Known around the neighborhood as a woman who practically never slept and as a perpetual busy-body, she knew the routines of the Republican Party's HQ, having nothing much else to do in her dotage. Watching the flashlights bounce through the darkened headquarters this early on a Sunday made her suspicious. Finally, all her years of being a "busy-body" would pay off. She picked up her phone and dialed the police.

Inside the darkened building, Rob Lopez and his team scoured the building, particularly the party offices of Prime Minister Cearrbhaill.
"Anybody finding anything?" Lopez whispered to his small band.
A small camera snapped, capturing the image of a document, "A few things," whispered back one.
"Don't forget to tap the phones," Lopez directed another of his technicians, "wait, what was that?"
Lopez paused, hearing a thunk-thunk noise, as if someone were coming up the stairs.
Suddenly, the room burst into light, blinding the dozen or so of Lopez's technicians, their surprise doubled by the appearance of uniformed police officers.
Before they knew what had happened, all of them had been handcuffed.
