Election results greeted by violence as Communists declare election 'phoney'

Communist Militia in the streets of Corktown
In the aftermath of this month's polls, controversial amongst the Communist Party especially for their being called so soon, the attacks which have terrified Hutori for a past few years have been stepped up to unprecedented levels. Earlier today Bekenial itself was rocked by a car bomb attack right next to the Presidential Compound. Though only a few passing civilians were hurt, the attack demonstrates that the militants are able to strike anywhere, and nobody is safe from the violence. Also certain regions of Falristan are now seeing extensive guerilla activity. The town of Corktown has been practically occupied by Communist forces, though a military response is surely on its way.
In a statement, Phillipa Geld (a member of the Communist Central Committee) condemned the election result and applauded the militants as 'revolutionaries':
Earlier this month the capitalists showed their true colours. They stuffed ballot boxes, they beat up decent communists as they walked to ballot stations, they threatened children that they would be taken away from their parents if they voted Communist. The reactionary centre-left did all it could to destroy our party and give themselves seats in parliament.
But the voice of the people cannot be silenced. Since the election more glorious martyrs and revolutionaries have came forth, punishing these capitalists for their treachery to the great nation of Hutori. Citizens have risen up in Falristan, where the electoral fraud was greatest and our party denied their greatest share of the vote. Corktown is now a glorious Socialist Republic, vanguard of the revolution and front line in the war against the capitalists.
Now we Communists have decided to reject this sham parliament and its phoney elections. No longer will we hide it, we are actively part of the revolution and our members will be directing the militants as they make their attacks. Parliamentary means have failed, now it is time for us to man the barricades and rebel against these half capitalists that threaten socialism in Hutori. Social Democracy is a lie, a lie that protects capitalism and prevents real reform of the system.
Our response to these liars is simple. We will have Socialism or death. There can be no compromise. Workers of Hutori unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains!
It appears these are dark times for Hutori. It is likely the military crackdown will be vigorous, but it will also make things official. Hutori is now in the midst of a bloody civil war.
