Welcome to the traditional festival in honour of the Gaduri national animal, the Rabbit, today on the 26th of January.
The Festival of the Rabbit is seen as a national event today, but it goes back for centuries, as it is a traditional and historic Gaduri/Gao-Showan festival, as the in Gao Showan culture the Rabbit symbolises an animal that brings celestial good luck, as it is the guardian of the night sky. As well, the Rabbit has symbolism in Bentara and Vintalli as well. It represents fertility, parties, happiness and joy in Bentaran culture, and cunning, agility, listening skills and knowledge in Vintalli.
We're witnessing now the March of the White Rabbits, representing the night sky and the orbiting natural satellite that is the moon, and as legends has it, the home and heaven of all rabbits. The March of the White Rabbits has been going for centuries, and they always start off the festival parade. To note here, these are not rabbit devotionists, rather they are more in nature and they respect the rabbit immensely. Let's take a look.
Here comes some floats, the first one seems to be of the Father of the Moon, Creator of the Dark Heavens, Curator of the Stars, Conveyor of Balance, Leader of Coneuism, the Awesome Yuè Shén, who as legends has it, created, inhabits and rules over the moon, the stars and the cosmos, overseeing Terra. Yuè Shén is the one responsible for all the darkness and brightness in the cosmos.
And here comes the faitfhfuls of Yuè Shén, the Rabbit Devotionists School of Coneu worshipper of the furry friends of Gaduridos. Rabbits holds a very special place in their culture, belief and life. The Gaduri Gao-Showan "religion" devotes their life to serving their bunnies, living in balance, and respecting and being grateful to the moon, and the ocean. They try to live by the rabbit way of life, trying to enhance their hearing ability and agility, being joyful and attent, and hope that that brings them good fortune along the way, hoping one day to reach the night sky, and the moon.
Up next, we see the Trickster Bunny, celebrating the cunning and tricky rabbits of Terra. The Magic Union of Gadur here with there float, they also appreciate the rabbit in their own way, with some magicians even being believers in the Coneuism. The rabbit holds a distinction of being notoriously tricky and cunning in popular culture.
And the Tricksters themselves, of course, the magician in their bunny masks in the parade.
Ah, a staple at all these rabbit festivals, the Agility Bunny comes in play, with some traditional Vintallian cuisine as well. In Vintalli, the rabbit is known as a sign of agility, among other things, and the Cheer Union is teaming up with Food United Vintalli, Acrobat Union and Drum Arena with this float and group. The Agility Bunny is a staple and always present at national sporting events that the Cheer Union is cheerleading for.
We have some newcomers, as the Modern Rabbit passes us by, by designer Allessannddrro Che, describing a possible modern robot bunny perhaps? It is big and is flying within the streets of Gadur here, and I must say it's imppresive.
And now we see nature come in play, the Church of the Cosmos appreciates the rabbits of being a vital part of nature, bringing many qualities, and quantities, to Terra, and other planets, and helping balance the Cosmos in peace.
And the kids, we can't forget about the kids, this year calling themselves the Rabbilutionists! Some 800 schools around Gaduridos are participating in the "Rabbilutionists, the future of tomorrow." It's more about learning culture and about our furry friends, than worshipping them here, still the kids participate every year at these parades. Great wholesome fun for these kids.
And there he is, the Oracle.
And there is the Celestial Personification of Gaduridos, Descendant of Yuè Shén, Guardian of the Stars, Protector of the Moon, Defender of the Dark Heavens, Stimulator of Fertility, Listener of Knowledge, Quick Trickster of Vintalli, Happy Hopper of Bentara, Fortune Companion of Marligantos, The Sovereign and Harbinger of Coneuism, Great Oracle Bǎohù Zhě Xīng, today in casual clothing, celebrating this national holiday.
And it seems that the Great Oracle Bǎohù Zhě Xīng is going to give his 'Annual State of the Rabbit Holes' address, let's tune in and listen.
His Human Companion, Anzo Yaozhen, translates; 'This will be a great year for Rabbits, and Animals, and Gaduridos, and the Alliance, and Terra, and the Universe. The light and darkness are one, says Yuè Shén, and when in balance, there exists prosperity and eventual peace. He sees that evil brightness has increased, scorching through Terra, but the good and peaceful darkness has managed to balance it, and control it, and has brought back prospect of prosperity for Terrans. He sees prosperity through all the clouds of uncertainty, through the times of conflict, and through the shrouds of instability. Peace shall overcome war, like darkness at the end of the day.
He also sees pioneers breaking frontiers, he foresees that Yuè Shén will be visited, and it is the will of the Father Yuè Shén to welcome human companions on his homeland. He foresees great prosperity for the Rabbits, and their furry friends, and he foresees greatness in Gaduridos and it's people. He foresees great friendship and immense progress between animals and humans, seeing humans becoming heroes to the animal community, and becoming family to their furry friends. He also foresees good friendship and company for Rabbits, Animals and Gaduridos.
He advices us to, look at the sky, and remember what we have, what we are, and what we can be, whenever in a bright place needing darkness, or a dark place needing light. Yes, He tells us to remember to seek a balance, we all need darkness and brightness in our life.
Roar!"
Wow, what a roar! Animal culture is roaring! Good news, let the Festival continue!
Great Oracle Bǎohù Zhě Xīng on an executive good will visit last spring.
And the Musical Festival has started!
It seems we're nearing the end, as we now go to two closing dances of the night, a rivetting and dramatic yet inspiring dance, by Gaduri natives, Director Yan-Che Chao and Producer Alonso Degradado, with the Salnaetian Orchestra Group, and the Sud Vintalli Dramatic Performers. As they perform, rivetting images will be shown on the screen behind.
Gaduri 'Tree of Unity' on the 3186, and current, flag
Welcome once again, as Gaduridos celebrates Unity Day on this 12th of April.
Gaduri Unity Day is a remembrance of the Union of Gaduridos, when Bentara, Marligantos and Vintalli signed the treaty united the three nations into Gaduridos on this day in 2043, celebrating 1217 years of unison and existence this year. Now playing, the Instrumental Anthem of Gaduridos, as well as the first provisional anthem, that was at that time a temporary one until a new one would be agree upon. The song still plays loud today, and has become the unofficial but de-facto Instrumental Anthem of the nation. Today will be a day filled with cultural activities of the big two ethnicities, the Marligan-Gadur sub-culture and the rising Gao-Showan culture in Gaduridos.
The Bentariolas, or Bentarans, from the coastal mainland, in their cultural historic colours of red and yellow, in strong numbers. A very proud people, once the arch-rival and sometime enemy of the Vintallianos, they conmemorate the day that their ancestors said 'yes' to peace and unity.
The Vintallianos, or Vintallians, from the big island, a very regionalistic people in their traditional red and green and turning up strongly to represent themselves. A very nationalistic culture, today they are proud to celebrate this day with their friends and neighbours the Bentariolas, 1217 years after signing the perpetual peace and unity treaty
The first organised civilisations that inhabited Marligantos, the Gao-Showans, an ethnic group of East Terra, are in large numbers at this, and most cultural events. Recent moves foster up better relations with Indrala, and Tukarali to some extent, has been a boost to their culture. Today, they are as much a part of Gaduridos as the Bentariolas and Vintallianos
Everyone has shown up to represent their culture here at Unity Day! The Bentariolans are here and in their colours, red and yellow, and the Vintallianos are also here in red and green. The Gao-Showans are here with traditional cultural customes here again, and we see now the dancing Marligan-Gaduris groups coming to to perform, as we see the national instruments being rolled in.
The Orgel (Pianobox) is national instrument of Gaduridos, having been around for over two millenias now.
The kids, in traditional Marliganti attire, doing the traditional Bon Bini dance.
Adolescents participating in the Bon Bini dance.
The Bon Bini dance is a Gaduri dance mixing Bentariolan and Vintalliano dance, it was developed over a period of time and is generally considered the first All-Gaduri dance. The dance has been developed with use of the Orgel.
Now we go to the second dance of Gaduridos, the Calypso, which is played on the instrument called Hero (Steelpan). Both Calypso and Hero gained prominence during the colonial areas, as it was the colourful and exotic alternative to the bland culture of the exploiters and their allies. As well, some movements used it to irk the colonial exploiters, making it as exotic as possible.

Consul Mason wrote:Welcome, welcome to all! Welcome to the Alliance of Terran Republics Fiftieth Anniverseray Celebrations!
It has been fifty years, and in fifty years we have achieved a community that consists of one-third of Terra! Through the hard times and through the easy periods, we stood together, and we will continue to stand together!
So all I want to say is congratulations, to you all, to us all! It is your will and commitment that made the Alliance what it is today. For there is no individual freedom; there is either collective freedom for all, or luxury for a few and misery for most. It is this system of tyranny that we seek to bring down in nations that have an idealistic republican movement!
We are idealistic revolutionaries, and together, we will be able to change Terra. We are not a pathetic populist movement that will eventually dissappear, no, we have a clear goal, a clear path, and we have something to fight for.
And in the next 50 years, we shall continue to seek allies, aid republican movement, and continue this global revolution and the overall Terran power-shift!
Thank you!
Former Consul, and President of the Alliance, Crimson Keiser, addresses the Alliance
Crimson Keiser wrote:Friends, Congratulations. I stood here over fifty years ago, at the Conference of Terran Republics, at this exact same spot, and addressing those present. I stood here exactly fifty years ago when the Parliament voted unanimously to ascend the treaty, and where I immediately signed my name on it. Fifty years ago, on that day, Terra was a very different world than today, something that I am very proud to have witnessed. Friends, together, we all contributed to this magnificent change, and I am overjoyed to be alive and be able to attend this conference.
I won't be here for too long, I know it, but I am very happy that I helped contributed to changing Terra, and all thanks to you all. It has been an amazing experience, and I officially step down from the largely ceremonial role; the Alliance has survived with collective agreements and decision. I am grateful and truly thankful to you all, I have met many friends, experience many different culture and cuisine, visited many nations, and lived a full life, an activist life, a proud life.
Thank you all, and enjoy the celebration.
Former Consul Chin-Tze Xiao, addresses the Alliance
Chin-Tze Xiao wrote:Allies, brothers and sisters, and friends,
As Consul of Gaduridos between 3223 and 3253, I had the pleasure of working with the Alliance for 30 years. During those thirty years, the Alliance saw it's numbers grow and grow. I have worked with plenty of nations, and even those that now aren't part anymore of the Alliance; nations like Alduria, Kanjoria, Davostan and Vanuku.
After my years as Consul, I decided to follow the great Consul Keiser's path and joined as an ambassador plenipotentiary within the Alliance. I have grown to see that the Alliance is a wondrous organisation, as cooperation, trade and culture flourishes. It has become a community, a really close-knit community. It has succeeded many expectations, and it's potential right now is limitless. We have achieved plenty. As a member of the Gaduridos Parliament on that faithful August day that lobbied and voted yes, to becoming the Consul of the pioneer nation fronting the Alliance, to now becoming a direct member of the Alliance organisation, working with the nations.
I say to you all, friends, that this will not be our only half-centennial. The Alliance will be here for a very, very long time, and will bring many many more changes to Terra.
Celebrate it, and keep up the good fight, thank you.
Former Supreme President Spiro Anroosen of Keymon Addresses All at the Event:
Former Supreme President Spiro Anroosn Speaking to all at his age of 100
Spiro Anroosen wrote:At my age I’m very fortunate to be able to speak in front of all of you. 50 years ago the Keymoni Congress ratified the Alliance of Terran Republics. I signed it, I was so eager to get it going. I have envisioned a world of peace and order, and I believe this alliance is on those steps to creating it. Keymon has had its ups and downs with the Alliance but I know that we all share the same common goal of creating world peace and one world government with one law one people united. I know that you all can do it and when I signed the alliance of Terran Republics into law I said “we are all a united people now let’s rejoice and celebrate!” thank you all for allowing a very old man to speak I love this country, it’s very beautiful and has such a possible vibration. Long live Peace and the Alliance of Terran Republics! And of course it’s good to see old friends here and I look forward to dinner *laughs*
Thank you so much not every man at one hundred years old such as I gets to have such an honor like this… To the Alliance!
Rev. Baker of Cobura gives his speech, and afterwards, will be giving a series of sermons on the Red Clover Church in Cobura:
Rev. Baker wrote:Greetings,
I am quite pleased to be here today. Now, as all of you from Cobura know, I am not a supporter of Republicanism. That will probably shock those of you from other countries. I support the monarchy. So I'm not going to applaud your progress in "liberty" and so on because I'm not sure it is progress. But there is one essential element more important even than the monarchy. That's Godliness. That's goodness. And if we can be good, if we can follow God's wishes under a Republic, then that's better than a monarchy. That's rightful government. So I want to tell you all -- if your Republican Movement brings on strong moral values and roots out the anti-God dictators, those who corrupt the Lord's wishes, then God is on your side! You will have victory!
My home nation has been wracked with turmoil these last few years. We've had a civil war. And as I speak, it's ending right now -- my country is becoming whole again. So when I came here, I came from a nation that was divided into two: a morally corrupt state on one side and a morally righteous state inside it. Now, when I actually speak, we have one state, one state at peace, one morally righteous state. One morally righteous Republic. And if that's the sort of progress the Alliance brings, then I do applaud it.
Thank you
OOC: Those willing to address the Alliance, please send me a PM, that includes your speaker's name and his speech, as well as a picture (not necessary, but would be nice)

Today, the Keiser Hall of the Alliance is officially opened here in Gadur, and will serve as the main hub for the Alliance here in Gaduridos, and it will also house Alliance representatives to Gaduridos from Alliance countries.
The "Keiser Submarine" as it has become known, has quickly turned into a new landmark monument for Gaduridos
We see Consul Alec Mason is ready to speak to the delegates at hand. "Friends, we are here to honour a great man in Gaduri politics, and also an influential man on the international stage.
He is the mane that made Free Gaduridos what it is today, and he is a man that fought hard for Gaduridos within the Alliance, and fought hard for the Alliance. Crimson Keiser is a true statesmen, a great Gaduri, a tremendous Terran. The First Consul of Free Gaduridos, the First President of the Alliance of Terran Republics, and an idol to many in Gaduridos. A pioneer in shaping up Gaduridos, after disastrous years being a protectorate, military junta, extreme nationalists and monarchists. And today, he leaves a legacy, a grand legacy. An influential and powerful organisation in the Alliance of Terran Republics, a weakened organisation in the International Monarchist League, economic and social prosperity across almost two-dozen nations, cultural bonds and ties between countries all over the world, and a prosperous and free Gaduridos.
Friends, without further ado, I officially open up the Keiser Hall of the Alliance, for a better Alliance, for a stronger Alliance, and for a fairer and just Terra!"
