Gaduridos invades Malivia!
Consul slams Artanian Union, declares military campaign to liberate Malivia from Raja

Image
Our heroes, on their way to liberate our Gaduri brethrens and the Malivian people

Gadur, September 3288
The cancer has spread and merge, as details about an alleged Anti-Gaduridos Treaty have been reported on by the Gaduridos Agency of Intelligence & Surveillance. As well information about the cancer spreading to two other nations have also been found, as Jakania has recently announced support for Likatonia, and Luthori has implied support for the carcinogenic dictatorship. Consul Mason announced Gaduridos' committment to finding a cure for these cancers.

"As of today, Gaduridos is not only officially at war with Likatonia, but with Malivia as well. I have ordered Gaduri troops to free the Vascanian colonial holdings of Malivia, from the carcinogenic Raja. As of today, a cure is being implemented on the Cancers of the world, on this Axis of Crazies. We urge Jakania to do the right thing and fight for freedom and against tyranny, and to not allign themselves with Luthori and Malivia, who both supported the imperialists in Jakania. As well, we urge the undemocratically "elected" chairman of the Artanian Union to keep out of Gaduri business. Both his organisation and his nation has stood still while Gaduris where arbitrarily incarcerated, and even now, they remain silent on the illegal take-over of Keymon. If he truly wants to make a difference, he should join the right side, the side of freedom over tyranny, the side of the cure against the cancers of Terra. I have ordered our national military to use every means necessary to free our brothers and sisters in Malivia and Keymon, even if it means invading Malivia. Alliance-republics are gearing up reinforcements to aid Keymon. Gaduridos is gearing up to liberate the carcinogenic kingdom of Malivia from the Raja."

While advances have been made in the colonial areas, near Malivia, surrounding troops are awaiting the arrival of reinforcement from Gadur. As well, troops holding against the odds in Keymon shall also be receiving their fair share of more reinforcements from Gadur, as well as other Alliance nations soon.

Down with Sokoloff! Down with the Raja!

Victory after Victory for our Heroes as they Liberate Malivian Vascania

With virtually no resistance, except in parts of the colonies extremely loyal to the Raja who have formed guerilla militias, Gaduridos has made significant advances on the western half of Malivian Vascania. Resistance was met on the northern front and south near the border regions, where it is reported that guerilla militias have total control over the rainforests there, and may be aided by outside forces. However, significant advances have been made into the centre of the colony, and naval forces and specially aerial forces have pounded the northern front into submission, as colonials surrendered or retreated.

Some regiments, under order of their superior, have already began parading the streets of villages, towns and cities, showing the might of Gaduridos and celebrating what the Consul is already calling a "major victory". The attack has come as an absolute surprised to the cancer known as Malivia, as the Raja virtually forgot about the colonies, instead spending resources and personnel on the mainland. The resource-rich colonies has been and still is a large source of food for the Malivian people, specially in these perilous times, and with almost half of it occupied, one must wonder what is about to happen, as the Raja enacts barbaric legislations, as he focuses more on one group of people while others starve. "This is what we are liberating the Malivians from" were the words of Consul Mason

Victories in Vascania, stalemate in Malivia

As our heroes continue the liberation of the entire Malivian Kingdom, the Vascanian mission is going better than expected. More advances have been made, as several villages and towns, without decent methods of fighting back, have outright surrendered to Gaduridos, for their protection, as well as Gaduri aid. Major advancements have been made as more than 50% of the Malivian colonies are now under Gaduri control, as the unprotected colonies have to rely on guerilla militias. Unsurprisingly, some see tha futility in fighting against a national army and surrendered to Gaduridos. Resistance movements in the southern border regions and jungles have held on strong, in the centre of the colonies as well, the largest town of Usnakatibandhiya. General Wancho have called on the remaining pockets of resistance as well as other remaining villages and towns to "peacefully surrender, and avoid further bloodshed. We are here to help you, to feed you, to liberate you. Malivia won't be coming, the Raja will not be coming."

No resistance to be found in this town either

However, on the main homeland of Malivia, our heroes have had less luck. A planned amphibian invasion Itaki failed as the Malivian forces held strong, and an invasion from Hobrazia led to a stalemate in the border regions , andour heroes have regrouped to reconsider their strategy. While there are virtually no Malivian military in Vascania, the Raja piled all his chips on repelling the invasion at home, and with Gaduridos already fighting a war against Likatonia, our heroes haven't had the success in the early stages. Gaduridos may have just underestimated the Malivian military on the homelands. A third attempt at an aerial campaign against Malivia was attempted, but anti-aircraft artilleries and the Malivian Air Force made sure that the campaign failed, with one Gaduri fighter crashing, and another fighter jet captured, making it two jets and their pilots in Malivian custody.

Dorvik informally declares war.

Haldor, Kordusia - The People's Republic of Dorvik has entered the fray when Defense Minister Erwin von Bismark order two carrier air groups and their respective ships to head towards Malivia earlier this month. Though the formal declaration has only been brought to the People's Chamber recently the Defense Minister alongside several prominent military officials including the Dorvish Chiefs of Staff have stated that they could not stand idly by when a peaceful nation was attacked. Two carrier air groups have been dispatched while the other 4 have been mobilized. Of the some 150 divisions of the Dorvish Army almost all have been mobilized and are to be en route to various places throughout Artania.

Malivian Vascania almost completely Liberated!
No action on Malivian Homeland

Operation: Saviour Hare nears its end as Malivian Vascania is almost completely liberated. With only a few pockets of resistance remaining, and the central plain, a heavily Malivian area and home of the largest city, Gaduri troops are readying a final push to bring freedom and liberty to the former Malivian colonies. Several members of Parliament have visited parts of the liberated protectorate, including Parliamentary President Kalyna Petrov - Alenko, and Dmytryos Petrov, who is the son of former MalivAdmin head Dmytry Petrov. The Parliamentary mission was to assess the best course of action for the liberated protectorate.

Reports did come in that excessive force was used against guerrila militias, especially those into the rainforests, and that such actions caused an environmental disaster. General Jaime Palmeira responded to the accusation, calling it 'baseless'. "Every action necessary to liberate these lands, that was our order from the Consul. Was there heavy actions taken in the forest region? Yes. Was it succesful? Definitely. Was there ecological collatoral damage? Certainly. Is it an environmental disaster? I beg to differ."

Image

General Palmeira said that the final push will liberate the Malivian colonies, and afterwards immediate action will be taken to restore the way of life, and introduce freedom and liberty to the liberated protectorate. "We will be succesful, the former Malivian lands will be freed. It can't take much more than a week, certainly in less than two weeks."

Luthori condemns invasion, expels Gaduri embassy

Image
Sir Martin Hailsham, the Imperal Seal-Bearer

The Holy Luthori Empire became involved in the Malivian crisis today, when His Imperial Majesty's Government condemned the attack and expelled all Gaduri ambassadors from Luthori.

Sir Martin Hailsham, the Luthori Imperal Seal-Bearer, condemned the invasion of Malivia by Gaduridos today. In a statement read before a full session of the Imperial Estates-General, he said:

"The Holy Luthori Empire condemns the barbaric and unwarranted invasion of Malivia by the armed forces of Gaduridos in the strongest possible terms.

This needless warmongering against an Artanian nation is the mark of a immoral, despotic, and uttery depraved government, whose tyrranical desire to oppress the peoples of Terra is now laid bare. This wanton bloodlust will not be tolerated.

The Luthori government demands the immediate withdrawal of Gaduri forces from Malivia, the abandonment by the Gaduri government of all designs on the nation of Malivia, and the payment of war damages to the Malivian people, commensurate with the damage caused to the people and the nation of Malivia, to be decided by external assessors."

The speech was met with rapturous applause from all sides of the house, such that the Home Secretary stood for some minutes in silence before being able to speak after the Seal-Bearer. When the applause eventually subsided, the Secretary of State for the Home Office, the Viscount Clamfwydd said:

"The His Imperial Majesty's government will not idly tolerate the degenerate savagery of the Gaduri invasion of Malivia.

For that reason, this morning all Gaduri representatives in Luthori were expelled from the country.

His Imperial Majesty's government calls upon all the governments of Artania, and all the governments of Terra, to join in showing their condemnation of this outrageous assault on Malivia."

The condemnation of the invasion is said to have strong support from the Emperor himself.

First Victories for Malivia, Pressure on the Hobrazian Government

While the Gaduri forces have been succesfully denied entry into Malivia, the first counter-attacks have been successful. The Gaduri fleet has now had to suffer some painful losses in a concentrated Malivian effort to break through the Gaduri-controlled waters, an effort that allowed Malivian freighters to sail to Keymon in order to supply the Likatonian allies. Already Malivian analysts and officers are proclaiming that the Gaduri fleet will not be able to endure more attacks of these nature without breaking apart and effectively loosign control over the seas around Malivia.

"We are very confident to have the Gaduri navy around us inoperative in a matter of weeks", says Grand Admiral Eslam bin Yewa, "they have been compeltely catched off-guard by our attempts, and apparently underestimated our fleet's agility and the experience of our seamen. Another thing that has allowed us to break through without any distinctive losses is the great effort of cooperation between navy and air force, as the latter has immensly benefitted of the huge defence budget, and, ironically, the Gaduri money."

But as Malivia seems to be getting the upper end in the war early on, it faces small economic problems, especially in its border regions (as far as civilians are concerned) and in its lesser developed suburbian and inner city areas. While it has begun to show by the lack of food provisions and medical supplies, now the rate of smaller businesses going bancrupt has significantly increased, together with joblessness. To counter these developments, the Raja has gathered the more powerful of the country's religious leaders, and entrusted them with providing for the people and, apparently, given some of the administrational rights over to them and their organisations. At least one of these organisations has to be viewed as fundamentalist, they are followers of the Gerajan deity "Duka" the Lord of Storms, and follow a very martial way of life. While the Malivian government provides for its people in Malivia with both military actions and light propaganda (like claiming the death of former Consul Keiser was to be credited to navy-trained sharks), it has renounced the Treaty of Belgon, that would have obligated Luthori to enter the war on Malivia's behalf, apparently for fear of looking weak to the international community (a diplomatic move that has at least confused, if not alienated, most political analysts and foreign digniatries), and it has made clear that it won't help its colonies for as long as there is any danger to the motherland.

There has also been a communique sent by the Foreign Affairs Minister Erich Munindyur to the Hobrazian government, in which he requests that Hobrazia forbids Gaduri troops from using its territory as deployment base, and in which he also states that if Hobrazia doesn't follow this request until January 3291, Malivia will ignor the Hobrazian borders and fight the Gaduri troops on Hobrazian ground.

Malivian Colonies Liberated!

Our heroes celebrating the inevitable victory

Parades and celebration in Vasca, the new name for the Gaduri Vascanian Colonies

Gaduridos is victorious in Vascania! The cancer have been removed from Malivian Vascania! Gaduri troops will now be on active patrol, to stop terrorist Malivian loyalists, though military leaders are not ruling out an offensive advance from the colonies to Malivia. Meanwhile on the homeland, limited successes as the Gaduri Aerial Forces bombed a couple of military outposts, at least according to Gaduri sources. As well, Gaduri operatives have had successes in feeding some border region villages of Malivia. However, the Naval Forces have had serious setbacks and defeats as Malivian forces penetrated through to bring supplies to Likatonia, supplies that could have been used to help their own people, but instead they use it to feed the Likaton cancer to try to defeat our heroes. Following setbacks on the seas east of Malivia, the Gaduri Naval Forces are now moving to the Washite Isles as we speak, to provide well-needed aid and try to rally internal Malivian support for the liberation. The Malivian government obviously is incapable of providing aid for them, instead, they blame that on supposed Gaduri sabotage, however we all know that that is just some Malivian propaganda.

Consul Mason responded shortly to the Luthori seal-bearer. "It is no surprise that Luthori would be supportive of the cancers on Terra. We will be victorious in our mission, our brothers and sisters will return home, and the Raja will be brought to justice. But for Dorvik to support cancers, that is a new one. We will be adding more troops to our mission to Malivia. We will be victorious. Down with the Cancers of Terra, now supported by Dorvik and Luthori." Following setbacks in Malivia, the Consul is preparing to send more troops to Malivia, to arrive in a few weeks. "Until then, stand strong, heroes of freedom and liberty."

Dorvish Eastern Fleet arrives on Malivian coast.

Off the shores of Malivia - The Eastern Sea Fleet of the Dorvish Navy has finally arrived off the coast of Malivia and has begun operations to protect the Artanian nation against any further attack from the numerous enemies which seek to assault it. Admiral Nayden Stoyanov was placed as commander of the Eastern Sea Fleet weeks before the conflict begun brewing as is serving aboard on of the ships in the fleet; which was kept secret in order to protect him.

"Its unfortunate that the Gaduri, who were once our allies have turned their back on us and have taken a level of extremism that has yet to be seen in these past twenty or so years. I believe that this war will be dangerous because it involves so much more than land, it takes with it the ideals which we live by as citizens of Terra. The Eastern Sea Fleet along with the North Eastern Sea Fleet under command of Vice Admiral Ilija Zahariev have taken to protecting Artania with our lives and we will rightly do so. God bless Artania, God bless Dorvik."

The speech was shared with members of the fleet and the members of the media back in Dorvik.

Attack on the Gaduri Forces - Malivia Victorious!

In the early days of February, just after the Republic of Hobrazia was given notice that Malivia would no longer consider their borders when fighting the Gaduri foe, and apparently before the Gaduri troops could prepare themselves for an attack, the Malivian Army pushed into Hobrazia on to the Gaduri bases and has now severely damaged the Gaduri foothold in Hobrazia.

"While we have suffered more than a few losses due to their readiness in the later stages of the battle, and them having entrenched themselves as soon as it became clear that we would no longer think twice about attacking in Hobrazia", says High General Amir bin Ghulsev, "we have managed to severely hurt the Gaduri bases, now to a degree that should have incapacitated their land forces around Malivia, which means that we would no longer have to fear an invasion by land, at least not as long as the navy stays strong."

Meanwhile, the Raja has given administrative control over a number of underdeveloped or far-off regions and district to a panel of religious groups, some of them convinced fanatics of the Gerajan war deity, and the fleet has increased their presence around the Washite isles. The convoy that managed to break through the Gaduri fleet in the last great effort appears never to have reached Keymon, and is now thought to have been interrupted and defeated by Gaduri ships.
