Women from all around the world came to Vorona's only airport, which was basically a dirt field, and were taken to a "luxury" hotel in Godwinchester which featured one outdoor toilet and state-approved fashion codes as literature. The "hotel" was a two-story shack that had no clean water and no electricity. Nonetheless, all the girls tried to do their best with the situation. Unfortunately, it turns out that the water they were drinking was infested with cholera. Two days later, all the female players die, and the World Cup is finished.
