Trigunia press far west
Onwards and Upwards!

An Armoured Column is seem making its way to Denjal.

With the Indralanese Troops in Hadiik-Mijidill fighting the Ahmadi, Trigunia has decided to sweep up the rest of the ahmadi settlements in Hebil. Troops that were told to form an iron curtain from Kirsh to Asad have pushed upwards and are now closing onto Mort Iskendra. The Trigunian Army which is represented by the 56th Infantry Battalion push forward through the dense forests that seperate Asad from Buwuzlan. The Trigunian Army is trying their best to fight back against the Ahmadi Troops. To add to the disress intelligence say that the Ahmadi Troops have amoured vehicles, which puts much more pressure on the Airborne's Metal Cavalry. With just 23 tanks in the Trigunian Metal Cavalry in Cildania, this puts pressure on the tank commanders and the crew for they do not wish to have one of their tank destroyed.

The Trigunian troops have fought long and hard and most of these troops wish to go home after over 6-9 years inactive serivce in Cildania. Admiral Sonin stated that once Hadiik-Mijidill was captured and the ahmadi were driven out of Cildania only then may the Trigunian Troops leave. Trigunia is told to be soon leaving the provinces it has captured and now control to the mercy of the Cildanian Government. As of today trigunia is going to begin to give back the provinces she currently holds in Cildania back to the Cildanian Government.

Trigunian Armed Forces pull out from Cildania.
Till' we meet again Trigunia!

Trigunian Troops are seen parading through the streets of Amat after their withdrawal was announced today

As the last Trigunian soldier marched out of Cildania yesterday, apparently wipping away tears, Sonin said in Petrovgrad that in future decisions to send troops abroad should not be taken by a small conclave but by the Trigunia Parliament. Nine years and seven weeks of Duma's military involvement ended fifteen minutes before noon, when the Trigunian Ground forces commander, Major General Miron Nikiforov, walked across 'Victory Bridge' linking the Cildanian town of Shaba with Bayo. Hours afterwards, the Duma appealed for an immediate ceasefire and an end to arms shipments by all countries. The statement said that the withdrawal of Trigunian troops under the Trigunian Government's secret meeting to restore peace within Cildania. But the absence of Trigunia troops could now touch off a bloodbath between the two heavily-armed Cildanian sides, poised for a decisive struggle.

Hebil was quiet yesterday, with no new rebel rocket attacks after the ones which killed seven people on Tuesday. People showed no signs either of panic or jubilation as the decade-long Trigunia intervention came to an end.It was a day of quiet, but without the peace which many Cildanians a few months ago had almost miraculously expected to see by now. Major General Nikiforov was the last of some 75,000 Trigunian troops to be withdrawn. When asked what he felt as he walked the last few steps on to the TNS-Petrovgrad, he replied: 'Joy, that we carried out our duty and came home. I did not look back. 'The day that millions of Trigunian people have waited for has come,' Major General Nikiforov told an army rally afterwards. 'In spite of our sacrifices and losses, we have fulfilled our internationalist duty totally.'

Aheblun Rises
Hebileans fill the gap

The Cildanian Civil War has been raging without end for nearly a decade, and Cildania is as unstable and war-torn as she was when Sibilla foolishly demolished that ancient Cathedral and sparked one of the largest conflicts on Majatra. Numerous foreign nations intervened, thinking, perhaps naively, that they could bring a quick resolution to the war and restore peace to Cildania. This has not yet happened, and the foreign coalition is now reconsidering their participation in this seemingly endless war. The most painful for Cildania was the withdrawal of the Trigunian Armed Forces, one of the key participants in the war and responsible for some of the most significant victories against their Ahmadi State. After Trigunia secured South Hebil, and with Indrala besieging the Ahmadi stronghold of Hadiik Mijdiil, Trigunian withdrawal would conceivably not heavily impact the situation of the Cildanian government. Or so it would be if this were a two-sided war. But with the Hebilean-Apostolic alliance controlling a vast amount of Cildanian territory and benefiting from the support of Vanuku, this, it turns out, is not the case. The Hebilean Resistance Army was quick to take over the territories liberated by Trigunia in the South of Aheblun, practically doubling its territory overnight and becoming the main opponents of the Ahmadi State in Hebil. Meanwhile the Cildanian Armed Forces struggle to retain control over their own territory; although the city of Suur, so close to the Capital, was retaken by the Cildanian government, the People's Free State now faces a much stronger and more united enemy than the by now collapsing Ahmadi State's presence in Cildania.

General Dido bitt Hasdrubaal had finally arrived in the Velieres strip. She prepared to attack Ancium and root out the remaining Sibilla loyalists.

Ancium had a series of barriers built around it by Sibilla loyalists. So the PRF began violently shelling the barriers, hopeful that the remaining imperialists would simply surrender. However, they did not. In fact, they were putting up a fight unexpected by the General. So she ordered her troops to storm the town. Quickly, the Communists ran into the city, rooting out the imperialists. Most surrendered promptly to the communists, some died bravely, but many attempted to flee. The cowards who fled, they were given mercy. Those that stayed were to be tried for high treason.

The communists had taken the town, and unfurled the Cildanian communist banner. The Imperialist flag was burned, and the local loyalists quickly pretended loyalty to the free state

Cildania Pushes Back
Cildanian Armed Forces advancing rapidly

Cildanian Army in Kshish

After a string of defeats and the loss of a large part of Cildanian territory, particularly after Trigunia pulled out of the conflict and after the spectacular growth of Aheblun, the situation seemed hopeless for the People's Free State, with even the Capital merely miles away from the enemy stronghold of Suur. The situation has now reversed however, as after the fall of Suur, the Cildanian Armed Forces began a concentrated attack westwards, taking the towns of Jdar, Ayut, and Kshish, removing the Apostolic Army from Akeldr and also cutting off connections between the Apostolic Army and the Independent State of Aheblun. A large shipment of supplies, seemingly of Trigunian origin, mostly food, bandages, and clothing, appears to have been partially responsible for this reversal in the fortunes of the Cildanian Armed Forces. The government was also helped by the decline in popularity of the Apostolic Army, as their open support for Hebilean independence, while strategically useful, alienated them from the Cildanian majority population, who are now increasingly supportive of the Pan-Qedarite regime in Qart Qildar.

Troops guard Aheblun border
Vanuku moves forward, engages Ahmadi State.

Image
Vanukean troops showing the identification flags of their peace mission.

October 3879 - Slowly but steadily the Vanukean lion crawls forwards, today at the break of dawn a massive amount of Vanukean troops marched out of their base of operations in Mort Iskendra and spread themselves across vital points of the Cildania-Aheblun and Ahmadi State-Aheblun border. The commander of the Vanukean forces, General Husn Nasiv, announced that Vanuku would do "her utmost to protect the Hebileans from harm". On the Ahmadi State-Aheblun front the Vanukean troops are closely cooperating with Hebilean troops, assisting and guiding them to minor victories. It is clear that Vanuku wishes to avoid the disappointment that was so heartfelt in Trigunia, nine years of hard work and then the bitter choice to leave to preserve your own lives and dignity. To avoid such an ending the Vanukean troops are using a very different strategy, General Nasiv cites that "communication is key, the Hebileans scout and report the AS troops to us, we then coordinate a special offensive with them, first a jet strike, artillery barrage and then a combined attack with Special Forces to target the AS leaders in that area. We hope this is the key to victory in Aheblun."

On the Cildanian-Aheblun front the Vanukeans are attempting to stop the Cildanian offensive coming for the Hebileans, on critical points in the front line they have set up outposts with their mission standards flying high above the bases. The Cildanian troops are left to a simple choice: stay put and leave the Vanukeans alone or push past the bases and attack Vanukean troops and risk an open war. Several critics have called the Vanukean deployment on the front "dirty tactics to enforce a Hosian state in secular Cildania" but Vanuku continues to claim they are solely attempting to "cease the bloodshed" and to "get both parties around the table, there is room to talk between Aheblun and the Phalangite regime, they must realize the AS is the only enemy on their land" said mr. Niels Grondsveen, spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Indralan Imperial Army flag raised over Hadiik-Mijidiil

Senior General Zhou Jing today announced in Qart Yam that combat operations against the Ahmadi State in Cildanian had ended. The capture of the center of Hadiik Mijidiil was the symbolic end to the Ahmadist insurgency in Cildania, however Senior General Jing announced that the combat operations had taken their toll on the massive influx of Indralan forces that had entered the city. Nearly 15,000 Indralan soldiers were killed in street fighting operations as well as another 20,000 injured. Hadiik Mijidiil was leveled in several districts and the Indralan Senior General promised to rebuild, Senior General Jing also announced that he would be returning to Indrala and that the General Political Department would be handling the rebuilding efforts as well as the military diplomatic efforts.

It was also announced that the Imperial Army Navy would be building a naval installation at Qart Yam, which will serve as the first Majatran-based Indralan base and serve as a launching point for Indralan influence in Majatra.

Cildania Calls for Peace
People's Free State to end hostilities

November 3879 - Indralan victory at Hadiik Mijidill has brought an end to the Ahmadi State's presence in Cildania, and thus an end to the raison d'etre of the foreign participation in the war. The conflict between the People's Free State of Cildania and the Hebilean-Apostolic alliance, fought between former allies in the war against Sibilla, would now be a primarily internal matter, if it weren't for Vanuku's support for Aheblun. And this continuing conflict has been brought to a stalemate. The Cildanian Armed Forces have been regaining ground rapidly in Central Cildania, quickly recovering settlements held by the Apostolic Army in Majatra, but Aheblun remains entrenched and defended by the Hebilean Resistance Army and forces from Vanuku. Under these circumstances, and with foreign support for Cildania against its Hebilean separatists unlikely to materialize, the government in Qart Qildar offered a ceasefire. The terms of the proposed peace agreement include a DMZ between Hebilean-held areas and the rest of Cildania, a degree of autonomy for Aheblun, and the surrender of the Apostolic Army outside Hebil.

FAA lays down arms; joins calls for peace

Namal Kbiir- The FAA, having long consolidated its power in the settlements in which it controls, has decided to lay down its weapons and join peace negotiations in the hope of establishing a sovereign Ahmadi state in Calidania.

"The road ahead shall not be easy." said Abdulrahman Hacr "Yet we must travel it, to fulfill the true will of Akim."

Officals from the FAA have stated a hope to begin negotiations within the next few months.

Namal Kbiir- The FAA, newly reborn from the ashes of its slumber, has built what appears to be a functioning state, which they have named the Republic of Al-Akim. Officials report that though there is degree of secularism, on the whole, the system seems to be largely based on the workings of the old Confessional Republic.

Having recruited a further force of 40,000, the FAA seems ready and willing to take the city of Mor Miḣaʾil. Time will tell if they shall be merciful to those who reside within its walls.

OOC: Wait, I'm confused, I thought we were on the same side here.
