Belgae captured; following victory, Emperor sets up temporary cabinet, Congress in Hipero.
Belgae- Despite costing the invading forces an estimated 60,000 soldiers during the siege, the capital of the Assembly has fallen in a hail of mortar shells and artillery fire. It has been made known that the President, his Cabinet, and the Assembly (discounting several members who showed loyalty to the Imperial cause) were taken prisoner. According to various sources, a contingent of some 10,000 soldiers are en route to round up the former members of the old Imperial government after word was received that they had been indicted on charges of treason.
In other news, it has been made known that His Majesty, the Emperor Calixtus has set up court in Hipero. He has named to his cabinet several loyalists from the military and other former members of the imperial government who did not defect with the now defunct Congress of Skaraj. According to recent murmurings' from the Court of Hipero, the trial of Mr. Dezirinda shall reportedly go ahead. Meanwhile, the various members of the previous cabinet who were captured in the coup have been released.
