Celestial Empire Enters Civil War at Request of Baltusian Government, Begins Bombing Runs

Great Indrala, having debated the issue for the sake of propriety, quickly made the decision to enter the Baltusian Civil War on the side of the Baltusian Government. His Imperial Majesty had ensured Indrala offer its services at the outset of the conflict so as to efficiently bring about peace and stability. With the acceptance of the Baltusian Government, Indrala now has all the justification in Terra to conduct a military operation.

Already, Imperial Air Force bombers have left their bases in the East to conduct targeted strikes on Baltusian Rebels' specific military forces with orders to avoid civilians. Baltusian forces are encouraged to strike down scattered rebel groups, thereby forming a "hammer and anvil" strategy to defeat the leftist regulars. Additionally, Indrala has counseled the Baltusian government to eliminate the rebels' civilian support by addressing societal needs in rebel occupied territory.

The Indralan force of 75,000 troops, a number based on prior experience dealing with guerillas and other non-regular units, is en-route, in waves, to bolster the Baltusian frontlines. From there, Indrala will directly partake in the hammer and anvil scheme and take the fight to the rebels. As a precautionary measure, once the Black Tortoise Fleet has finished its world tour, it is enter Baltusian waters to support the Baltusian Government with missile strikes on the rebels.

Today, the Government of Beluzia has announced their support for the Baltusian Revolution and in a press conference today, Defence Minister Janus Hartmann II announced that 900,000 men and 500,000 reserve would be sent to Baltusia and that 1000 fighter planes, 600 naval ships and 5000 tanks would be sent in to rid Baltusia of the Bourgeoisie

Baltusian Government with Indralese support reclaim some cities, Lindar Valley still contested

A new map of the current state of Baltsuia has today been released by the Baltusian government.



Highlighted we can see these key points:

The large majority of Lindar Valley is being contested including Garnata and Intikancha

Montablanca and other cities just south of the crossing between the 842 and N30 are either being contested or are owned by the Government

Busquema, Gevaro has been reclaimed by the governmentwith heavy bombing and ground support from Indralan support

Alboro is now government owned area

Llatja is still under heavy fighting.

Albiland and Athosia are still fully government owned democratic states.

Villita is fully protected

A truce has been claimed by the rebels and the Patriotic Party and the Conservatives support it. The truce states that after the general election, the President's Party's side will win the war- so in summary the people decide, as the war is currently split almost 50:50 across the whole of Baltusia.

It is not yet known who shall be the Presidential Candidate running on behalf of the Right Alliance. However it is thought that incumbent President Matthew Leitch shall run against Robert Gibb. Matthew Leitch however has announced that Gibb is a terrorist and if he wins the election Gibb should face a fair trial.

As Indralan Forces Aid Baltusia, Celestial Empire Will Declare Military Victory If Leftists Win Presidential Election

Indralan troops continue to aid Baltusian forces, helping them recapture large parts of Baltusian territory. It is clear, the "hammer and anvil" strategy is working. Casualties have yet to be reported, but it is expected to be in the low hundreds, including two fighter bombers and one bomber. Despite the losses, Indralan troops appear to be the elite fighting force guiding Baltusian patriots to victory over the rebels.

Given the current and more than likely future success, the Indralan Central Government and Imperial Court have announced that it will declare a military victory, regardless of the outcome of the next Baltusian presidential elections. His Imperial Majesty is said to be overwhelmingly supportive of a peaceful and diplomatic solution, but recognizes that the Celestial Empire's servicemen deserve recognition for their merits, with a military victory being fully within them.
