Narikaton ignores Republican Ultimatum

The Narikatonese government announced that it will not accept the republican demands and maintain the blockade. Instead more vessels have been moved to the Rutanian coast to flank the Republicans.

Reichskanzler Shukanov also Said that the blockade will not let the selucian convoys pass yet. He wants to wait for the outcome of the naval battle First.

The Government of Istalia would like ask, as already made through messages sent to the Narikatonian Government and to the Republican Forces, that the two naval forces, the Narikatonian fleet and the fleet controled by the Republican Forces, provides a safe corridor to let pass the selucian ships.
We are made this requests for the good of the civilian refugeed because the war, so that to allow the humanitarian aid to reach as soon as possible the coast of Rutania and bring aid to men, women and children which are suffering the war.
This request of course is directed to all the forces involved, my Government in fact invite you to think to the civilians, those that are suffering the most for the conflict.
So, please, I invite all the forces to declares a ceas fire of at least three days (72 hours) to allow the selucian ships to reach the rutanian ports and offload the humanitarian supplies.

Kaiserliche Marine Decimates Republican Fleet



The decision to attempt a flanking maneuver on the Republican fleet and fight their way out of encirclement proved to be genius as the Kaiserliche Marine decimated the Republican Fleet and its allies. Multiple ships were lost by the Republicans, while the Kaiserliche Marine suffered minimal losses and now control the majority of the Rutanian coast. What remains of what was once the Rutanian fleet has now sailed to foreign ports; it will be some time before they will be a factor again.

Red Front Posters Appear in Bozarburg

Royalist authorities have been leading a frantic cleanup operation over the last few days, in an effort to stem the tide of Red Front posters appearing all over the city of Bozarburg, the state capital of Bozarland. The posters, urging citizens to join the join the paramilitary organisation of the pro-Republican Democratic Socialist Party of Rutania (DSPR), appeared on streetlamps, walls, and the underground metro in Bozarburg over the weekend.

The posters, immediately noticeable due to their bold white-on-red colouring, bear the insignia of the Red Front: a submachine gun superimposed on the traditional crossed-tools logo of the DSPR. Their appearance underlines the strong support for the DSPR in many urban centres in Royalist territory, and the difficulties faced by the Royalists in maintaining order in pro-Republican cities and towns. Bozarburg, and the state of Bozarland generally, voted in favour of the Republican coalition in the most recent 4193 elections, and many residents are open in their hostility to the Whig-led coup.

Dean Wurzel, Professor of Conflict Analysis at the University of Floral, said the posters indicated the continued presence of underground Red Front units in Royalist territory: 'The majority of Red Front members have been withdrawn to Republican strongholds such as Port Seaborg following the Royalist coup in Vanderburg, but clearly there are cells remaining behind in some of the larger towns and cities in Republican zones, and this seems to signal their readiness to fight on. This will probably not involve conventional warfare, in which the Royalists clearly have the advantage in numbers and hardware, but the use of guerilla warfare, terror tactics, and armed propaganda could pose a real threat to the Royalists in pro-Republican cities such as Bozarburg. The Royalists will want to avoid a repeat of the situation in Vanderburg, where they fired on unarmed protestors, or risk losing control entirely.'

Endralon will send military planes to the Rutuania

Endralon Defense Minister announced that the country will send to the Rutuania aircrafts of the Air Force of Endralon to help the Republicans. The aircrafts will loaded most modern missile that exist in Endralon. The Defence Minister also talked about a possible attack on the royalists forces:

We are planning to make a major attack made by all our armed forces against the royalists of Rutuania. We can do this at any time, especially if the Government considers that the royalists are getting stronger. Our main goal is the victory of Republican government legitimate.

Along with the Air Force, will be sent more troops of the Army and Navy.

OOC: What should I do or write to say that istalian intelligence are supporting the republicans? Given this "battle unseen", the istalian intelligence are greatly present in most part of the nations where PMI operates and it is helping the republicans with collection of data and information, counterintelligence, military advicers and also cover operations, etc...
And, thanks also to this other event, maybe istalia are pressing to let pass the selucian convoy to get also others into the country (maybe some ships of the convoy may be ships of the HAWS with some members of the crews, but also entire crews which are working for our intelligence)... Maybe...

Dundorfian Air Forces Conduct Bombing Runs on Endralonese fighters at President Clark's request


Today the Dundorfian air forces conducted a series of bombing runs on Endralonese ground troops. We do not yet know how many are dead, but the impact is expected to be significant. The Prime Minister, Martin Gass faced severe criticism at Parliament today, as he did not originally disclose that the air force would be involved. Rumours are circulating that several backbench and front bench MP's are planning to stage a coup against this Prime Minister and his war.

Many are starting to describe him as "Clark's Puppet," saying that he is only doing this because the President of Rutania asked him to.

Protests have been held in the streets of Albrunn and Zerlin with many thousands attending.

Narikatonese Luftwaffe attempts to win air supremacy over Endralon and the Republicans

After having passed a bill that allows using the Luftwaffe Narikaton attempts to decimate the Republican Airforce. Cities will not be bombed to allow humanitarian aid. Also the blockade for Selucia will be lifted.

Declarations of War?

With so many outside parties openly involving themselves in the Rutanian civil war, cries have grown for formal declarations of war to be made. Citizens of many of the involved nations have grown anxious watching their armed forces clash - and the death tolls rise. Sustained intervention against other nations without a formal declaration of war seems to be impossible to maintain in the long run, with some seeking total war upon hearing the deaths of their loved ones by the hands of yet other intervening nations.

(OOC: If outside nations are going to openly attack one another within Rutania, they're going to have to start declaring war on one another and expanding this into a World War. It's impossible and illogical to maintain this as an internal Rutanian conflict, with so many others openly involving their armed forces.)
