Thanks Axxell. No, no news. However, we have an election (or leadership challenge) in a game month or so, which could change the picture in Hulstria and lead to Nimitz being ousted by his party members. We'll see what happens...

Since Vesica has already outlined what would be in the post, what is the rules position on using that OOC post as an indicator of what the Coalition did IC if needed?

OOC: it would be appreciated Max! Also because many IG years passed already. So I think that during this time finally the ring of steel fell and the coalition forces fought the battle of Karstadt.

Apologies, I have been away with work the last 36 hours.

I'll bring this to head from my point of view, in game, and with a post in the forum today. Then it is up to you guys to take things forward in Hulstria and restore some much-need democracy and order. Thank you for all the excellent contributions over the last few weeks it has been a fun RP to play.

Re: Hulstria and Gao-Soto, Elf, RedReaper and I have been doing some planning behind the scenes as to the form of a new democratic government. We thought it would be most likely that this government would be Septembrist, as a large number of very strong allies would never allow the existence of a Communist State in H&GS. This, then, makes it unlikely for the Provisional Government to ever agree to negotiate (as I have already indicated with Fukuyama in the WC). We therefore present the following plan for the domestic RP:

1) As soon as Karstadt falls, the international community (or an overwhelming part of it) presumably recognises the Septembrists as the successor government. By then, the Septembrists won't just be me but also Red's new party NKEP and Elf's FKL.
2) The Volksstaat won't like this, of course, but they'll then be insurgents. There might be negotiations, but as noted above the Septembrists can hardly be expected to make many concessions to a party antithetical to their views which they can likely crush with the support of international assistance (and I've already got a few people who have said they will give it).
3) Since the Septembrists will be the new recognised government, the Basic Law becomes the constitution (lower-case). Maybe we can agree to all vote for the changes in the variables required, that'd save us the headache of having to figure out some other way of doing it.
4) The first general election to the Imperial Diet occurs under the Basic Law. The Septembrists run under a unified ticket (all Septembrist players are "15th of September Movement (Party name)").
5) A final version of the Constitution gets adopted, the new Septembrist Government starts stabilising and rebuilding the war-torn country. The Volksstaat gets hammered into the mountains where they continue to be a nuisance.
6) The 15th of September Movement dissolves itself and continues as the Septembrist Movement party organisation as usual, leaving a multi-party democracy.

As an aide de memoire, this plan is still the basis of what we're planning for the aftermath (us is Red, Elf, Polites and myself in this case). A few changes should be made though. There will probably be negotiations but the Septembrists, emboldened by the fact that they have the support of much of the international community, will stick to the line proposed by Fukuyama at the World Congress (participate in elections under the Basic Law, we will not limit the options of a democratic government to a socialised economy). They will of course reject these terms, at which point 2) proceeds as normal.

Thanks for coordinating this RP, stunt. It's been an absolute pleasure. If you'd like to stick around to help us implement the constitutional variables we need (maybe because the remnant of the party is forced to help out), that'd be good.

Sure thing, Martinulus. And thanks for all your input. Please make Hulstria a much nicer place!

@Everyone, you will see this bill in the debate section in Hulstria, which shows the end is very near for the regime.

And if you all check the A Battle Unseen post here you should get at least a hint at what has happened to precipitate this.
