Excerpt from news reel:

Malivia has formally requested an armistice from Narikaton, Luthori and Dorvik in a speech stating:

I could not have blamed you for being the first to lose heart if we, your elected leadership, had not shared in your exhausting marches and your perilous campaigns; it would have been natural enough if you had done all the work merely for others to reap the reward. But it is not so. We, gentlemen, have shared the labour and shared the danger, and the rewards are for us all. The conquered territory belongs to you; from your ranks the governors of it are chosen;. Please I call I for an armistice.

A daring commando raid has been carried out on refineries and port facilities outside Genestadt on the isle of Westmark. Early this morning several explosions rocked residence, shattering windows and reportedly being heard more than 20 kilometers away. Within minutes, the Neumann Refinery with nearly 500,000 barrels of crude oil had burst into flame. Firefighting crews were quickly on the scene but at this time appear unable to tame the blaze.

An hour later, a short gun battle erupted near the Port Authority headquarters between guards and what later turned out to be Malivian commandos. A series of small explosions soon followed that engulfed several merchant vessels on the city's nearby docks. Specially-trained police and military auxiliaries were called to the Port Authority building, reaching it around dawn.

However, the attacking commandos had left before after having run a twelve-foot Malivian flag up one of the port's gantry cranes as a makeshift. The flag was visible throughout the city before being taken down by authorities.

The source of the raid was confirmed when several videos were uploaded online and sent to the editors of the Daily as well as other major news agencies showing Malivian commandos attacking the refinery and port facilities. The videos are suspected of having been deliberately uploaded by the Malivian military.

When pressed for comment, Westmark's military commander, General Walter A. Voßkuhle had little to say but sources within the Defense Ministry stated the raiders came from a Malivian submarine.

Undoubtedly this dastardly attack was meant to dampen enthusiasm for the Dorvish war effort and spread our defense forces thin defending the long coastlines. Reportedly communities up and down the coasts are enacting contingency plans or calling for military protection.

Whether this desired effect will take shape remains to be seen but one thing is for certain, this raid will go down in history as one of the most daring.

OOC: Ignore this for now.

OOC: I am going to post this now prior to me finishing all my posts as it seems we're all very busy and I will make a wikia article to go more in-depth with information regarding the war. We're now 3 years past the wars end actually in-game. So this post will finish and shore-up some of the more relevant stuff now.

In place of making an official in-game treaty, we'll just RP a treaty that ends the war and go from there. If we want an official in-game treaty, we can make one but I figure that this would be easier with everyone.

End of combat operations, Northern Council declares victory enforces "Treaty of Ghacrow"
November 2nd, 4337

Ghacrow, Darnussia and Narikaton - The Dorvish Deputy Commander-in-Chief Generalfeldmarschall Reinhold Regismund von Rohr-Mauss announced that as of October 30th, 4337 all combat operations had been suspended and the warring parties were to be brought to the table for negotiations on November 1st and 2nd. The peace conference will be handled by the Dorvish primarily with Luthorian and Northern Council representatives (including Luthori and Darnussia and Narikaton) and Malivia, this was agreed upon by the warring parties. The Dorvish Ministerial Conference for the Leadership of War will be responsible for the peace conference representation of the Dorvish Republic, the Dorvish representatives include: Chairman of the Ministerial Council for the Leadership of War Wilhelm Franz von Bahr, General-Plenipotentiary for War Economics Constantin von Desidier, General-Plenipotentiary for Defense of the Homeland Liebhard Anton von und zu Czimnetz and General-Plenipotentiary for Foreign Administration Karlheinz Hans von Färber and the Deputy Commander-in-Chief.

After several days of negotiations, which started earlier on October 31st, 4337, the peace conference decided on what is known as the "Treaty of Ghacrow". The Treaty of Ghacrow asserts that the Thaller monarchy is to be ended and a Presidential Republic to be installed in Darnussia and Narikaton, the Malivian government is to pay $250b LOD over the course of 10 years ending 4347 to the newly-established Dorvish-led State Commissariat "Darnussia and Narikaton" which will be responsible for the oversight of efforts to re-build the devastated mainland of Darnussia as well as the partially damaged island of Narikaton. The treaty also enforces that the Malivian military downsize and scuttle dozens of their ships, however, it lacks provisions for enforcement. It should be noted that the Malivian effort to re-build their devastated military will take anywhere between 10 to 15 years to reach similar levels, it will take a further 5 to 10 years in order to achieve a status past where they were at the outbreak of the war if they continually push an aggressive military agenda.

Order of Battle of the Dorvish and Luthorian Forces

2. Panzer-Division (General der Panzertruppe Maximilian Orndorff)
12. Panzergrenadier-Division (General der Panzergrenadier Marko Kamphaus)
14. Panzergrenadier-Division (General der Panzergrenadier Jörn Kuchler)
11th Armored Brigade (Brigadier General Lewis Hudson)
2nd Armored Brigade (Brigadier General Cassius Summers)
17th Infantry Brigade (Brigadier General Raiden Chen)
20th Infantry Brigade (Brigadier General Erik Guzman)

Southern Front - Doressa (Headquarters)
23. Panzer-Division Regismund (General der Panzertruppe Volker Theodoric von Rohr-Mauss)
10. Panzergrenadier-Division "Heilige Dorvik" (General der Panzergrenadier Florian Karlheinz von Färber)
17. Panzergrenadier-Division (General der Panzergrenadier Maximilian Wilhelm von Bahr)
19. Panzergrenadier-Division (General der Panzergrenadier Henning Doebrich)
9th Armored Brigade (Brigadier General Adam Pearson)
20th Armored Brigade (Brigadier General Kian Sharp)
21st Infantry Brigade (Brigadier General Emmitt Vinson)
22nd Infantry Brigade (Brigadier General Jeremy Ratliff)

Late July, Early August
Dorvish Forces in the northern portion of mainland Darnussia pushed to take several smaller towns and villages, Malivian forces had begun a fighting withdraw to their fortress city of Kraw as Luthorian forces had poured in from the Northern border between Darnussia and Luthori. Spearheaded by elements of the 17th Infantry Brigade and the 20th Infantry brigade, the Luthorian forces were able to encircle and cut off Malivian troops around Kraw taking swathes of poorly trained and poorly supplied Malivian troops. The Dorvish were able to push back the Malivian forces until they formed a strong defensive line west of Walcor where the Dorvish stopped their advance, the Dorvish Navy which had left the primarily blockade of Malivia to the powerful Luthorian Navy, looked to support Dorvish troops on the ground with sea-to-land cruise missile launches, the South Ocean Fleet (Südseeflotte) underneath the command of Admiral Domenikus von Lÿndow-Sennhein was happy to provide the support.

Dorvish forces were once again spearheaded by two of the most prestigious divisions in the Dorvish Landwehr, the 23. Panzer-Division Regismund lead by General der Panzertruppe Volker Theodoric von Rohr-Mauss and the 10. Panzergrenadier-Division "Heilige Dorvik" lead by General der Panzergrenadier Florian Karlheinz von Färber. The two formed the primary spearhead against the Malivian forces on the Southern front where they were able to bog Malivian forces down enough to stabilize the lines, the Dorvish forces were assisted by the crack 9th Armored Brigade of the Luthorian Army and the 21st Infantry Brigade, the Dorvish forces settled and formed defensive lines prior to attempting another push to the east.
