SU DECLARES MARTIAL LAWThe Deltarian government has announced the implication of Martial Law and the mobilization of the armyFollowing the Czar's failed coup attempt and the subsequent killing of cabinet ministers the Prime Minister has announced the implication of martial law.
The Deltarian army is mobilizing and the government is requesting its international partners for support.
According to the Prime Minister Kamil Novák one of Istalia's party's suggested to put Augustín Thaller on the throne to oppose Czar Nikolai and split Thaller forces. The response of our Prime Minister was the following:
We have given the Czar and his party countless opportunity's to join us in debating his future and even announced publicly that we were willing to keep the czardom intact. Unfortunately the Czar and his supporters have chosen conflict over peace and agression over debate. We are now convinced that a monarchy is not what is best for Deltaria and we will therefor pursue the abolition of the monarchy. We regret this decision and would have wished a different outcome but following recent events we believe a Republic is in the best interest of the nation. However we are willing to offer Augustín Thaller a position as Deputy Prime Minister since we believe he has the best interest of the nation at heart. We will now deal with the reported rebellion and hope to resolve the issue quickly to ensure the safety of Deltarian citizens and the continuation of the democratic reforms we are bringing to the nation.
Said Prime Minister Kamil Novák during his response on the current situation.
Prime Minister Novák with a troubled face after hearing about the rebel takeover of some provinces The Deltarian government calls upon its citizens in the reported areas controlled by the Czar to stay indoors and wait for the all clear from authorities. The government has also put its bordersecurity on lockdown fearing possible aid to the rebels. We will keep you up to date on the response of other Majatran and Teran nations and the way things will develop.
