The Kivonia-Telamon War (also called the War of Davostani War of Liberation or the Macon War) will be a war lasting from 4771 to 4775 and will involve Telamon, Kivonia, and Hutori directly, with Dorvik, Istalia and Kazulia providing aid for the primary fighters. The war will be based on the dictatorship in Kivonia that the government of Telamon (who fled Davostan after the takeover and moved to Telamon) want to liberate the people of Davostan from.
The following is the backstory of the war-
The Kivonian National Salvation Party won a consitutional majority in Davostan's legislature in 4749, leading them to slowly transition the nation towards a stratocratic republic and a military dictatorship. 4 years later in 4753 the Second Noble Socialist Party flees the nation after pressure ramps up on their actions. Later that year the 3rd Kivonian Republic is announced and the KNSP takes full control of the nation.
In 4759 the former SNSP leadership takes control in Telamon and declares their intentions to run the Davostani government-in-exile as well as their goals to invade Davostan to liberate it. Both Kivonia and Telamon work to increase their military strength and obtain allies.
In 4760, Likatonian ships (supported by the Kivonian government) committed a terrorist act outside Telamon's EEZ, beginning the real rise in tensions. Both nations had denounced each other, and by 4770 they were preparing defenses and invasion plans.
The beginning of the war-
The Armed Forces of Telamon will launch an invasion of the islands of Bindeborg Proper in late 4771 after a Davostani naval ship allegedly fired small arms at a Telamonic freighter.
4771
Telamon's invasion of the island is successful until it isn't. Once the Kivonian military is able to move troops and supplies to the northern island of Nyberg (Telamon invaded the southern and larger one, Bindeborg Proper), they turn the tide with more soldiers and equipment.
4772
Kivonia launches a retaliatory strike against the Telamonic mainland in Vesturland with a large plurality of their military. Telamonic forces manage to keep them away from any important industrial or governmental areas, but the Kivonians keep coming. Eventually, Hutori gives both sides a warning about ending the war and preserving Hutorian sovereignty, because Kivonia has been dangerously close to entering Hutorian waters in their attempt to get troops and supplies to Telamon as fast as possible. Knowing that Hutori is more likely to be an ally to them than the Kivonians, Telamon launches a secret invasion of the northern coast of Kivonia that they had been planning for the last year.
4773
The invasion is a success with Kivonia's focus being on the invasion of Telamon and their forces protecting the southern coast, due to the Telamonic forces drawing the Kivonians further in to draw more troops into Telamon and out of Kivonia proper. In Kivonia's scrambles to return back to their country and stop the invasion (which had made massive gains), they accidentally trespassed in Hutorian waters, causing a Hutorian naval patrol to fire on and destroy a Kivonian convoy and it's escort. Hutori now joins the war at the end of 4773.
4774
Now with Hutori's help, the Telamonic military manages to encircle and crush the Kivonian army that they had drawn into the nation. Meanwhile, the Kivonians have to deal with the Telamonic invasion from the north and their new conflict with Hutori, who launches a major naval bait to annihilate the Kivonian navy. With Hutori joined, the other Northern Powers join in as well, with Dorvik and Kazulia providing support, either militarily, logistically, or other ways. With their navy gone, the Kivonians attempt to use the rest of their military in an all-out push into Hutori, which is promptly stopped and turned right around by Hutori's military. The regime in Kivonia begins to fall apart as the people revolt against the failing system and country.
4775
Starting very late in 4774 and the start of 4775, the military government of Kivonia flees to the islands of Davogard and Bindeborg for safety. Telamon manages another successful invasion of Bindeborg, leaving the Kivonians with only the island of Davograd (ironically where the SNSP 20 years before fled to). Hutori starts a military occupation of mainland Davostan, while Telamon occupies Bindeborg.
Post-War
A little while after the war (no more than a year) moderates and reformists in the government on Davograd take over and sue for peace with the Hutorians and Telamoners. Hutori and Telamon agree to occupy the nation for no more than 10 years, with the mainland (and Davograd?) being under Hutorian control and the islands of Bindeborg under Telamonic control. Hutori steps in to assist the Telamonic economy with massive investment in the reconstruction, and giving the Hutorian economy a clear advantage over Telamon, which is the subtle way or pushing for closer ties with Hutori, ultimately culminating in joining of a Pan-Makon Federation. In Davostan, Hutori strips titles from everyone in the interim, appointing a Governor General/Military Governor who rules Davostan for several years, until they pull out slowly. They begin training the Davostani military back up as a security force, which gives some of the moderate officers a chance to shine. Eventually a Pan-Makon Federation is formed with Hutori as the dominant power.
