The following statement has been issued by the Malivian government:

Early next year, a coronation is set to be held in Modalin, Malivia, for Manas, Emperor of Vascania, as Greater Malivian Emperor, sovereign of the territories known today as Malivia, Darnussia-Nariakaton, Hobrazia, Keymon and Selucia.

The event will be televised live, and the film made available to all broadcasters for free.

Foreign dignitaries from across Terra are most welcome to attend. Dignitaries from the Greater Malivian Empire itself are most especially welcome. The food and the entertainments will be more splendid than anything that has ever been seen before.

King Carlu, the rightful sovereign of Keymon, will be in attendance, and will swear his fealty to Emperor Manas as part of the ceremony.

Long live the Emperor!

Manas crowned

Manas Raktavana, the Emperor of Vascania, has been formally crowned as Emperor of Greater Malivia at a lavish and glittering ceremony at Modalin Palace. Organisers struggled to attract many foreign dignitaries of high political status, due to the controversy surrounding Malivia's territorial claim on "Greater Malivia", although guests from all over Terra were present. The part of the ceremony which attracted the most glaring international criticism was when Carlu, the pretender to the Keymon throne, acknowledged the Emperor as his liege lord and swore his fealty to him.

Patanjali Ganapuli, formerly President of Malivia, now becomes its Pradhānamantrī or Prime Minister. He was amongst those who formally swore his allegiance to the Emperor at the ceremony, afterwards hailing the event as "the beginning of a glorious new chapter in the Malivian story".
