I think its a great idea! It would be quite realistic to show how repressive and aggressive governments can be when it comes to religion and whether their citizens believe in the state religion (if any) or not.

Just my opinion folks, don't get rude:

1. The government has no policy on proselytism. (default)
2. Proselytism may be exercised unofficially. Government involvement does not apply.
3. The government leaves management of the proselytism policy to local governments.
4. The government handles management of the proselytism policy to the recognized religion.
5. The government actively uses proselytism as a form to spread the recognized religion.
6. Any form of proselytism is prohibited.

As a question, perhaps suggestion, isn't this proposal very akin to one already in place?

Government policy towards evangelism and religious advertising.

-Religions are not permitted to promote themselves or advertise in any manner whatsoever.
-Religions are required to obtain government approval before promoting themselves or advertising in any manner.
-Religious organizations are not permitted to actively promote themselves or advertise, however envangelism is permitted by individuals.
Religions are permitted to freely promote and advertise themselves.

And the differences between evangelism and to proselytize are pretty slim. Some of the original proposals put forth by Hogni could easily be inter-changed with those listed above. I like some of the newer ideas for variables put forward and to point out current laws can be expanded and amended. The initial reading of the proposal doesn't strike itself out as hugely different.

I think Hogni's suggestion is great, but Darvian does have a point...the existing options on "evangelism and religious advertising" are very similar.

If we were to talk about game diversity and a slight update for the game's legislative part, I'd say we should go forth with this.
