Options:
1) Advertising by tobacco companies is legal and unregulated.
2) Advertising by tobacco companies is restricted (eg. they cannot sponsor sporting events or cannot advertise on television).
3) Advertising by tobacco companies is banned.
4) Advertising by tobacco companies is banned, and cigarette packets must carry labels such as 'smoking kills' or 'quit now'.

Effects:
1) Decrease in gov. responsibilities, decrease in regulation.
2) Small increase in gov. responsibilities, small increase in regulation.
3) Increase in gov. responsibilities, increase in regulation.
4) Increase in gov. responsbilities, significant increase in regulation.

Law/Policy Catagory: Media

Options:
1) There are no restrictions on the media for pursuing stories/photos relating to the personal lives of public figures.
2) The Media may publish personal stories or photos on public figures, but only if deemed in the interest of the public.
3) The Media may only publish personal stories and photos of public figures with the subjects explicit permission.
4) The Media is forbidden from publishing any 'personal stories or photos about public figures, content is restricted to their professional lives.
5) Local Governments may determine levels of protection for public figures.

Effects:
1) Decrease in gov. responsibilities, decrease in regulation.
2) Small increase in gov. responsibilities, small increase in regulation.
3) Increase in gov. responsibilities, increase in regulation.

Moderation will have a look at all the new proposals soon, however, until a successor for Urien is found, we will have to concentrate on the more imminent duties (player reactivations, multi searches, and the like).

Given that Urien is now inactive, shouldn't you just appoint in interim mod for the time being until a permanent replacement can be found? Wouldn't that smooth the transition a bit?
