Section: Economics

Proposed addition: The government obligates Labour Unions and Organizations of Employers to negotiate a minimum wage

Effect: Same effect as 'The government obligates Trade Unions and Employers to negotiate the daily number of working hours' variable in the The government's policy towards the daily working hours law.

I like them, but I'm not sure to understand the first one. Minimum wage would be negociated between the unions and employers at a kind of national summit, and not decided by the government?

Yes just like Siggon said. It would allow tripartism which is common in the Benelux and Nordic countries and any other country where consensus is valued over confrontation as you get in the Anglo-Saxon economic model.

Strange, I see this rather as corporatism : the government pressuring those partners for them to achieve an agreement without involving him too much. Still, I like this model of State as last resort.

Not that strange at all :) , tripartism is often a key ingredient of corporatism. As (an increasingly economically liberal) corporatist, I've always wanted to see corporatism as a real option in the economic laws so I've been thinking of proposing laws on incomes policy, co-determination, price controls, export subsidies etc.
