Changing the radio station law

Postby unwichtig » Mon Aug 15, 2016 2:24 pm

Name of the (already existing) law/policy: Radio stations.
Law/Policy Category: Media

Current:

1) The government subsidises a national radio station for educational and informational purposes.
2) All radio stations are owned by the state.
3) All radio stations are owned by independent non-profit-making cooperatives which are subsidised by the government.
4) All radio stations are owned by independent non-profit-making cooperatives which receive no subsidies from the government.
5) The government subsidises independent non-profit-making cooperatives for educational and informational purposes; other private non-subsidised radio stations are allowed.

Proposed:

1) The government subsidises a national radio station for educational and informational purposes; other private non-subsidised radio stations are allowed.

Reason:

The law is basically the same as the Television stations law, except that the radio stations law lacks the extra sentence I proposed.
