Imagine you had a party that wanted to represent only a region or two in you country, where a minority lives. Why don't, under where we edit our party candidates, was a place where we could select which regions do we want to run candidates, and where don't we? That would add a bunch of ideologies (such as nationalism, independentism, or regionalism), and would fit perfectly with our cultural protocols.

The game's development has stopped. This may no longer be done.

Its a great idea, but as toro said, development work on Particracy Classic has ceased, so it is unlikely to be implemented.

You cannot run in some regions and not in others. But what you can do is tailor your policies to the opinions in a specific region (you can access these by choosing a region on the "detailed political opinions" page or by choosing"detailed political opinions" on the region pages). And you can role-play regional parliaments and governments:
22.4 The following types of RP law are specifically identified as laws which will be enforced by Moderation:
[...]
22.4.4 RP laws which establish regional parliaments by basing regional parliament results on region results for national elections and hand regional parliaments the responsibilities assigned to "local governments" in the laws of the nation.
