Options:
1. Music is protected by extensive copyright
2. Music is protected by basic copyright, except for traditional music
3. Music is part of the commons and not subject to copyright
4. Music is illegal

Effects:
1. Medium move towards Big Government, Medium move towards Regulator
2. Small move towards Big Government, Small move towards Regulator
3. Medium move towards Small Government, Small move towards Laissez-Faire
4. Large move towards Big Government, Large move towards Conservative

I think, out of pure balance reasons, there should be 50/50 big-small government options.
"4. Music is illegal" I lol'd. That'd be fanatical conservative or something. Was there any regime that forbid music in general?

There have been regimes that heavily restricted music, for political and religious reasons. I can't think of how any government would hope or want to actually ban all music though.

In Afganiat the music was heavily censored at the time of the Taliban.

But about the proposal, I have a proposal, instead than talk about only the music, why not include all the media?
Music, films, series, etc...
And why not an option about the religion: somting like "only media authorized by the religious doctrine are allowed"?

There are policies on other areas, like works of art and television and the radio.
