The LDC has reviewed the Euthanasia law and come up with this revised version. We have added a devloved option and added more specification options about when Euthanasia can be used. The political position effects stay the same except where we have made changes, and I will specify how our changes affect positions...
“The government’s policy on the right to euthanasia.
Options:
1- Euthanasia is illegal but not considered murder.
2- Euthanasia is illegal and considered murder.
3- Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor, but only if the patient is terminally ill.
4- Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor, and it can be given to any patient.
5- Euthanasia is only allowed with consent from the patient and a court order.
6- Euthanasia is mandated for the old and sick”
7-The national government leaves policy on Euthanasia up to local governments. "
