Our proposal for a law that deals with musical instrument lessons:

The Government’s policy regarding musical instrument lessons in school
Category: Education

Options:
1- The Government requires all pupils to receive continual lessons for at least one musical instrument during their primary and secondary schooling.
2- The Government requires all pupils to receive a basic introduction to at least one musical instrument at some point during their schooling
3- The Government requires all schools to offer musical instrument lessons to all pupils, however does not require pupils to attend
4-The Government does not allow any form of musical instrument lessons during primary or secondary school
5- The National Government leaves policy on Musical instrument lessons to Local Governments

Effects:
1) +Progressive ++big gov
2) +Progressive +big gov
3) +progressive +small gov +permissive
4) –progressive +restrictive
5) +devolution

Options:
1- The Government requires
2- The Government requires
3- The Government requires
4-The Government does not allow
5- [the ubiquitous option to devolve it to local governments]

Eek.

I feel that we dearly need as an additional alternative versus all five of the above, please:

6- The Government does not involve itself in this
or
The Government has no policy regarding this
or
The Government allows each school and each pupil to do as they wish regarding this
or, please, whatever other such wording you would prefer (to express the same concept). Thank you :)

Yes, an option which provide no involvement should be add. The first version, "The Government does not involve itself in this" i think it is the best one
