"The Security Council will carry out its mission as it feels it is necessary. We appreciate the concern of members of the General Assembly, but we have voted and we are responsible to act.
While we understand that the Klavian government has stated that they are not developing nuclear weapons, we also fear that the development of chemical and biological weapons can present a clear and present danger to peaceful states around the world. Istalia has been chosen to head the delegation in Klavia and Dorvik has been chosen to head the delegation to Dankuk. As I have previously stated, we will carry out our mandates as necessary.

We will refrain from commenting on Vanuku's petty attempts to squabble with Dorvik, it is a sad, pitiful state of affairs when a proclaimed "Great Power" falls into such disarray and neglect.
We sincerely believe that the Vanukuean people look inwards and ensure that their own backyard is in order before sending useless and baseless threats to Dorvik. As for the comments from Solentia, such a state that is a propagandist state will be overlooked due to their ignorance and quite frankly, smoke blowing."

Zar Safk, Vanukean Ambassador to World Congress:

Mr Secretary General,

In terms of Dankuk, a key trading partner of Vanuku, my government has asked me to inform World Congress that our Foreign Minister has spoken at length with Prime Minister Kong and Foreign Minister Wilkins. We are extremely encouraged by their commitment to denuclearise as demonstrated in their disarmament act.
Their government has asked me to pass on a message to this body. They simply want to say that all they want is peace and are taking all steps necessary to ensure that peace, despite the increasingly threatening situation.

A delegation from Vanuku will be travelling to the Grand Imperial Union very shortly to hold talks with government to look at ways of making sure this peace is maintained and disarmament continues by extending the terms of our treaty with them.

In terms of Solentia, and to re-emphasise what the Istalian ambassador has said, Vanuku must be heavily involved in the weapons inspection for there to be any proper resolution to this matter.

Cnut Anastasia,Ambassador of Klavia to the World Congress
Mr Freisler you could asked me about this. Does Klavia have chemical and biological weapons? Yes it does however these are simply for its own defense. These are deterrents for any would be aggressor. These help us have at least some leverage when doing diplomatic talks and through nations that threaten Klavian sovereignty. If these weapons were gone the vultures would begin circling and before we would even know it someone would invade us. We have the lowest population in Terra,we have the smallest military in Terra. These weapons guarantee that Klavia will not be attacked. These weapons are what terrify those who wish to claim Klavia not as a kingdom, but a colony. Mr. Freisler these weapons are necessary for the safety and security of Klavia and if they were removed that would most certainly mean within a matter of years our nation will be another colony or territory under one of the great powers feet. We will never be that. These weapons have endless power and they guarantee sovereignty. I plead with the Security Council to see my point of the story. To see Klavia as not just a nation but a home.

We agree regarding all weapons of mass Destruction. We simply cannot deny the fact that they serve a preventative purpose due to mutually assured destruction. Obviously, what weapons are used for this purpose is debatable, but the essence of the purpose of such weapons of mass destruction remains.

Mōrittsu Hanke, Hulstria and Mikuni's Chief Plenipotentiary to World Congress:

Honourable ambassadors,

Given the outbreak of war between Kazulia and Dankuk and the threat that other countries may be being drawn in, we ask what action the World Congress is taking to find a peaceful resolution and maintain stability in northern Dovani?

“I venture to suggest that patriotism is not a short and frenzied outburst of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”

Mrs Illés Noémi, ambassador of the Confederation of New Endralon, Kizenia and Kuzaki.

Honourable ambassadors of Kazulia,

Could you tell us why this war is neccesary? Yes, Dankuk killed a ambassador from Kazulia, and just because he spied on Dankuk is not a good reason to kill them. Neither is starting a war for the execution of the Consul General. Both parties here are at fault for escalating this situation into a war. We want to request both parties to take their responsibilities and explain the situation. For now I would like to request the Kazulian forces to stand down and not invade Dankuk further. This has already gone too far.

I also want to inform you that the Confederation is sending a ship to monitor the situation. It will not engange or interrupt the conflict in any way.

Oddvar Engebretsen, Kazulian Ambassador to the World Congress
The majority of the Kazulian population believes that the regime in Taeyangsudo is the most dangerous regime in existence. We have long warned the international community that Dankuk's historic perception of Kazulia as a claimant of their "Kyo Empire" coupled with said regimes persistent threats to destroy the Kingdom of Kazulia since its conception, created the impetus for our nation's measured response. We exist within a region that since our nation's conception, has been hell-bent on our nation's destruction. Repeated conflicts with Hulstria, cross diplomatic skirmishes with Sekowo, and constant threats from Dankuk coupled with the nation's actions within our own. What makes matters worse is that we see an international community moving to embrace a regime that has steadfast on our nation's destruction, that has systematically rooted its corrupt elements in our nations in an attempt to spread the virus that is their religious perception into the nation.

Before the international community, the genocidal intentions of this regime in Dankuk was made clear. Openly discussing plans to undermine the Kingdom of Kazulia through clandestine means, openly conducting military exercises aimed against the Kingdom of Kazulia with its international partners the Istalian Republic and the Kingdom of Vanuku, openly making threats towards the Kingdom of Kazulia that it would be underneath the Kyo Empire once more, launching propaganda campaigns in an attempt to incite violence within the nation. Persistent threats from this nation and its regional and international allies and the nations of international community response by embracing this regime. Lest we focus on the domestics of this nation and its totalitarian regime.

Perhaps you can understand that a nation as a whole can take so much and move on. If Dankuk's rulers aimed to inflict destruction upon your countries, perhaps you would be less enthusiastic in accepting said threats and moving along. If Dankuk's rulers aimed to enslave and persecute your people under a religious doctrine that favours not our nation's western-thinking, perhaps you would be more measured in your responses. If Dankuk's leader sought to proliferate nuclear weapons in your backyard, maybe you could be more resistant to embracing them. Nations such as Indrala has never had to cope with the fact that the very nations that surround it as the very nations that seek its destruction, for Indrala until our modern era, has been involved in seeking our nation's destruction and "easternisation". Economic sanctions, appeals to the international community, appeals to regional members, appeals to allies of Dankuk, yet nothing was done. However, when an asymmetrical response is launched the international community now moves to address concerns that have been allowed to boil for too long. Yet the international community wonders as to why nations rarely depend on organisations such as the World Congress to address issues.

Upon concluding, members of the Kazulian Delegation leave the General Assembly.

Ch'ae Hyun,Representative of Dankuk to the World Congress
What Mr. Oddvar did not tell you is the fact that the Kazulian government itself has become more totalitarian every Act they pass. They passed the anti-extremism act which bans possible “extreme parties” which is a limitation of freedom of speech and politics. The Kyo Empire exists and continues exist in the borders it has set currently and continues to wish for nothing but peace. We have constantly called for peace talks and possible conferences to avoid war but you have ignored them all. Our “assassination” of your ambassador was completely justified because he was working as a spy in Dankuk in YOUR orders. We have no genoicidal agendas against the Kazulian people. There are actually a vast number of Kazulian who live in Dankuk especially near its border regions. We treat them as citizens of our nation. You are the ones who are genocidal. We have dissidents who tell us that you put them into death camps. You put them in slavery. You claim we are imperialistic yet you have forced us into war.Claim us as the enemy and yet you started this war. And you will see the blood run into your lands.

Antonio Cañamares, ambassador of Egelion to the Congress

Postby MarcGM » Thu Mar 29, 2018 10:31 pm

Mr Representatives, I address myself as a simple civil servant working for his country. Egelion knows what it is to live in a state of war. Our homeland has experienced many violent episodes and this has made us a weak nation compared to our allies. But we are recovering thanks to peace and dialogue. You will see the war is the worst punishment a state can do. The causes can be territorial economic and sentimental but the result is always the same: death and destruction. There are no winners or defeated, everybody loses valuable things. above all, human lives. That is why our republic declares itself neutral and informs the assembly that we will organize humanitarian missions with volunteers who assist civilians. Because people are innocent. Thank you so much
