4th General Assembly Session

Postby Axxell » Tue Jan 31, 2017 11:48 pm

Below are the archived discussions of the 4th General Assembly Session, which lasted from 4159 to 4173.

Ambassador Malga:

We forgot the diplomacy? How we can call diplomacy the blackmails of Saridan? And when was Saridan ready to release my fellow nationals? After ir has declared that it would release them only if we would have accepted its dictat? Dialogue to do what? Deal on the life and the skin of people threatened to any retaliations in case we would not accept the Saridanese dictat? What kind of negotiation it could be this? How could a diplomat call this a negotiation?
And to Mr Montreal: what are you saying? It is since the first sessions of this Assembly and of the Security Council that the international community debate on the international issues between Nations able to express its opinions, advices and offering aid! And what could be a far more productive work? Allow Saridan to present its shameless statements in the General Assembly talking about concentration camps and crimes against humanity?
Once Kalistan would be the first to condamn Saridan to have only talk about concentration camps.
Ans c'mon! My Government are already waiting for such as statement of yours like "we agree with you but...". What kind of "but" Kalistan have to add this time? What "but" on the reaction against terroristic and inhuman blackmails? And what do you want to say to Baltusia that are trying to maintain the situation on diplomatic stage? We do not agree about its concession to Saridan but why this kind of blaming?
And about the 45 brown shirts, they were gulty as well as the Government they decided to follow and support. They were guilty of having been the instrument of their Government to detain and force to the forced labor my compatriots, not exactly "well fed" given the conditions in which they were found, and their deaths would have been avoided if Saridan had not committed its terrorist acts against innocent people.
My Nation does not repent and does not regret to have done its duty, one of the most important duty of each Governments: defend and protect its citizens.
Already are missing 16 people, we don't have any info about them and their conditions if not the statements and the testimonies of the prisoners saved which said us that these 16 people deseappeared during the daily work in the near cement factory, where the detained didn't work all together.
What happened to them? They died during the forced labors? They was deported in other sites? Or worse... Of these 16 people, 13 were women.
We are tired to justify our actions when here we are the victim! Very very tired.
My Nation wanted cut its relations to Saridan, its right of any Nation of this World decide with which have relations or not. The only effect on Saridan they have been: no istalian visitors from istalia, no istalian companies or investments in Saridan, no istalian goods and services in Saridan, no Saridanese goods, companies, investments in Istalia. Any kind of possible fees or judicial procedements to have not respect the resolution would interest only istalian citizens. No act against Saridanese citizens or Saridanese territory have been forecast, rather we offered also an asylum to those which want left the Saridanese "democracy", a democracy were someone is more egual than others, where someone could decide to segregate or intern others citizens (and foreign citizens) because their ethnicity, their sex, their political beliefs, etc... Only hear tarnish the idea of democracy talking about concentration camps in this place is the signs that something don't work here.
Seeing Nations that give diplomatic space to these terrorist and to their blackmails is sign of something that do not work here.
Diplomacy shall not be done on the skin of innocent people! There is someone which not agree? Well, this means probably they are other possible rouge and terroristic nations as well as Saridan.
We will not justify ourself any more! We will not allow any more to be blackmailed by Saridan!
Now, I have to left the World Congress to talk with the incoming new government.
Continue to give the floor to Saridan, continue to hear its madness and its blackmails. My Nation will not listen any more talk these terrorist in this Assembly.

Laurens Bartholomeus, Saridani Ambassador to the General Assembly:

Thank you for having the dignity to leave, albeit after an incoherent and boring rant. Hopefully your puppets here in the Assembly can better articulate the Istalian party line.

Nevertheless, I will never forgive you for the deaths of those 45 citizens your military slaughtered in cold blood.

The jakanian ambassador get up again and says:
this isn't constructive discussion right now, everybody said what they wanted to say, but now, we have to found a clue for this problem. It's clear that nobody could understand his foe, but this is because we are talking emotional, we should talk in pure facts, and this is them
First, istalia embroaged sardinia for their rascism.
Second, sardinia locked up 410 istalian in camp to force istalia to remove the embrago, third, istalia made an intelligence ops to free the istalians, four , istalian solidars killed 45 brownshirts (sirdinia paramilitary), fifth, there are about 16 lost istalian.
We need clues right now, not your point of view. Only clues

The jakanian ambassador goes back to his seat

Dmitriy Naryshkin, Trigunian Ambassador to the World Congress, addresses the General Assembly:
Istalia was simply defending its citizens, and when diplomatic means failed, it resorted to force, because it seems that Saridan may only understand force. Istalia have the right to resort to force if the racists in Saridan imprison foreigners who did nothing against their government and think it is OK to force humans to labour endlessly in concentration camps, and Istalia have even more rights to do that because they are their citizens. Saridan is a rogue state. Thank you.

Laurens Bartholomeus, Saridani Ambassador to the General Assembly:

But diplomacy hadn't failed. Istalia was shocked that Saridan did not bow to their whims immediately and acquiesce to their demands, so they resorted to drastic measures that resulted in 45 deaths. This whole crisis was created by Istalia if you look at it reasonably. If they had not embargoed Saridan and left us to ourselves, we would not have had to arrest those Istalian citizens. But no, the leftist internationalists chose to stick their nose where it did not belong, and now we see the fruits of their efforts.

Comes back in the assembly and is looking for the Saridanese delegation...

Dear collegues of The general assembly,
I have wauted for a long time now and watched cery carefully to all the talks inhere, but didn't dee any improvement yet on a diplomatic solution. Potensi is done waiting, but to show are good heart, we will give the assembly another 6 month time to find an diplomatic solution, before potensi will take further steps to stop the fascistic and undemocratic governement of Saridan. In those six months the Saridanese people who are done with the oppresion of their governement has thebtime to flee the country and go to an allied nation where they hopefully will be helped. It is time to stop the tyrani and the inhumain ways of Saridan. Do not think we are allone in this.

Otto Vanderijk Blick, Baltusian Ambassador to the General Assembly:

Mr Jadoul,

Baltusia has taken its place on the Security Council now. I can assure you that this matter is being looked at as a matter of priority from our point of view, as I promised you. Talks are already underway – there will be a resolution. Again, I ask you not to take unilateral action that will endanger the lives of your countrymen. Thank you.

Ambassador Bartholomeus,

I have been very fair with you so far, some have said far too fair. However, I warn you now that your comments are not helping your cause one little bit. I also ask, here and now, that you offer something - even if it is one little grain of contrition - so that this Congress may believe that there is some willing on your behalf to change your stance.

If you do not I can only foresee two options: multi-national punitive sanctions that will sweep through your country with such devastation that they will bring your economy to its knees within months, if not weeks. The other option, well, that is an even more dreadful one and has already been spoken of in this chamber.

So, I urge you now: show to this international gathering of your peers that you are willing to step back from your entrenched position - look to repeal your draconian laws; show us a glimmer of hope or in your stubbornness face the consequences.
“I venture to suggest that patriotism is not a short and frenzied outburst of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”
