Deltarian Prezident Norbert Von Thaller

While I do enjoy coming here for the banter, I think we should address the Vanuks comments in a serious manner. We don’t hate the Jelbek people, the actions my government took against them a decade ago under a different government we’re due to the fact that they refused to assimilate into society. If you read Prime Minister Jakab’s comments at the time, this is abundantly clear. The recent war between us and Jelbania had little to do with sentiments towards the Jelbek group and more with an old claim on a throne that no longer exists. Perhaps the Vanuks should just stay quiet and return to whatever it was they were doing.

Ada Middenheimer, Dorvish representative to the General Assembly:

Firstly, on the issue of Dalibor: it is vital that Dalibor's people make the decision of who rules them, and so we would support a national referendum which will allow them to choose their own leadership. The referendum will ask whether or not they wish to be ran by Hyperion.

Secondly, Dorvik is developing nuclear weapons to put itself on the world stage. It is vital that Dorvik stay a military strong power. After the disastrous behavior of majatrans for the past few years, it is only right that a nation with a history of democracy and freedom be the world's superpower.

Julia Winters
Hutorian Ambassador to the World Congress

So to confirm the statement of the Dorvische Ambassador a nation with a history of democracy and freedom should be a world superpower and be entitled to nuclear weapons... how then does the Dorvik Republic see the Federal Republic of Hutori then? One of their oldest and closest "allies"?

Ada Middenheimer, Dorvish representative to the General Assembly:

Hutori is another nation of freedom and democracy and another nation worthy of being a superpower. We need powerful nations like Hutori and Dorvik to defend freedom and democracy across the world, and Hutori is entitled to nuclear weapons in the eyes of my government. It is best for their to be more than one of those such nations.

Jaswinder Patel Minister of Foreign Affairs and liaison to the General Assembly from Malivia,

I didn't think the freedom loving Hutori would be so double faced. You speak of freedom and democracy but at least we now know how you fund it. Apparently said freedom doesn't extent to free market foreign competition.

OOC: You guys do know the Hyperion is Malivias version of East India Company right?

Salvatore Puddu, Istalian Ambassador:

Ambassador Patel,
the right of a corporation to enter and operate into a market is a thing but a Government has all the right and the power to decide who can enter into its own nation, people as well as company. The right of a corporation, controlled by a CEO and a board of directors chosen exclusively by the corporation's shareholders, to declare a nation as a "subsidiary", indeed, simply doesn't exist.
Why? Because even the Government of a nation is not the owner of that nation and the only thing which this Government can dispose are public assets, public terrains, public buildings, mining licenses, public demain, precious metal reserves, debts and credits. Stop.
Hyperion cannot as private legal person claim the Sovereignty of Dalibor. The Sovereignty of Dalibor belongs only to the citizens of Dalibor who, however, cannot dispose of their own Sovereignty, the Sovereignty is inalienable from its nation and people!
Furthermore, we should also condamn the decision of the authority of Dalibor to mine the waters between Dalibor and Hanzen. Fristly, most scandalous, they are trying to imprison their own citizens which are trying to escape the civil war! "Flood of refugees", but for the authority all these people are criminals involved with the PLF! Simply unrealistic!
Secondly, such a measure can put in danger ships from all over the world which regularly sail through these waters and thirdly, this could be seen also as a serious danger for Indrala and its sovereignty of these waters. For this reason we invite to not persue such program.
Hyperion, the Dalibor Army and any other forces involved in the crisis should retire from the fight first of all, hyperion especially with its foreign fighters and its private military contractors, and allow the citizens of Dalibor to express their will through free and fair elections. They are the only vertable "owners" of their own fate as citizens of the Commonwealth of Dalibor.

Jaswinder Patel Minister of Foreign Affairs and liaison to the General Assembly from Malivia,

Colleagues it has been brought to my attention by NIS that Darnussia seems to have become a thallerist feudal hellhole. I ask this! Do we really want another Thallerist genocide or another Thallerist nation? Malivia doesn't especially not one that borders us. What is your opinion colleagues?

I would advise Minister Patel to tell his government that his government's willingness to allow Hyperion and it's affiliates to threaten foreign governments does not reflect well on the relationship between Malivia and Hutori. I suggest you reign them or your nation and government will gave the consequences of allowing rogue non-state actors to effectively speak on your behalf.

OOC: quite aware... you don't want to reign them I'll respond in kind

Omer Halilovic, Kalopian Foreign Minister

Minister Patel has brought to the Assembly an important issue that must be addressed. The Narikitonisch Konservative Partei are definitely a possible danger to the Darnussian people, and the World Assembly and Security Council should be looking at monitoring the situation, and putting procedures in place,
in case of racial tension occurring in the country - as has so often been the case.

We cannot prevent the NKP from introducing such reform as they have done already, that would be an encroachment on national sovereignty, no matter how disgustingly restrictive and authoritarian it is. We should, however, make it clear right now that any typically Thalleristic move towards genocidal behaviour like other Thallerist movements in the past, shall be met by sanctions, embargoes, and possible military action from the international community.
