simonetta Chiossi, Istalian Ambassador

Ambassador Coggeshall,
Let me say frankly that your speech probably Strengthened our convintion to proceed with the sanctions that my country is about to vote.

Your speech is... Is... Frankly I have no words to describe what communicate your speech. A plethora of suprematist concepts!

Someone could be also justified to blame the Hosian settlers to have conquered a land and destroyed an ancient form of human society.
Or blame you for your unilateral attribution of the right to determine who is better and who is not wprth of the same respect and dignity.

Your are talking about the Onglians like if they are a mass of retarded, it is heavily injurious and... insulting... Violent...

Unacceptable.

And you claim to be a civilized society? What arrogance...

Assembled delegates,

I urge you all not to be taken in by the attention-seeking misrepresentations being promoted by the bog-dwelling, turnip-munching, lager-swilling, yellow-toothed, foul-breathed, chicken-rustling, semi-literate, jumped-up loudmouth peasant-in-a-suit from the so-called Onglian Civil Rights Association. We in New Englia are all too familiar with this gentleman and his organisation and see right through what they are doing.

We are also aware, as some here are not, that the so-called Onglian Civil Rights Association is a front organisation for the illegal terrorist group, the Onglian Liberation Army, which seeks the complete destruction of our society. Unfortunately, although perhaps understandably, foreign observers are not always able to see through the deceptions so easily, and this can cause a great deal of misunderstanding. Istalia and Beiteynu have already been duped and are over-reacting. We regard both of these nations as our friends, and hope they will listen to reason and reconsider their proposed courses of action.

When Laighneach Mac Connmhaigh - or however it is you pronounce his uncouth and unpronounceable name - comes to this august chamber and relays his tall tales of supposed Onglian victimhood, he leaves out almost the entirety of the context behind the situation he is describing.

The context, as many of my learned and civilised friends here will understand, is that when the territory now known as New Englia was first colonised in the 2340s, the people who lived here - the Onglians - were the most primitive and barbaric people on the face of Terra, and in fact probably the most primitive and barbaric people who ever existed. They were so backward they had hardly any mastery of agriculture, which meant starvation was rampant. Worse, their savage natures, fuelled by their passion for strong alcohol, meant tribal wars were never-ending. They were not content just with killing each other; they were torturing and then killing each other as well, believing the screams of agony and the sacrifice of human life would appease their pagan gods and bring them better fortune. In the winter months, they traditionally ate someone for dinner - usually a child. The institution of marriage was unknown to them. They just had sex all over the place with whoever they felt like whenever they felt like it. This was often in full public view, and even in front of young children.

If anybody here doubts the veracity of this, I can point them to the writings of the first Hosian missionaries and civilised settlers. We are talking here about historical fact. Liberal revisionists try to deny it and rewrite history, but the truth is the truth.

But my friends, here is the good news - the fantastic news! After 2000 years of Inglian tutelage, the Onglians have been raised to a much, much higher level of civilisation than they were at before. Their lives are no longer marred by starvation, tribal wars, cannibalism, human sacrifice and all of the bad old ways.

Our liberal opponents claim we hate our Onglians and do not care for them. But my friends, this is not true at all. We love our Onglians, and we love them more than anyone else here does. This is why we have tutored them and raised them above their former savage state and brought them to a stage of civilisational development which even a few centuries ago, nobody would have dreamed was possible.

We are proud of our Onglians, and we are right to be proud, because we have the happiest primitives, the happiest Onglians on the face of the planet. There is nowhere better to be an Onglian than New Englia, and if you talk to the ordinary Onglians in this country, they will tell you exactly the same thing as well. I am not talking here about gentlemen like Laig-whatsisname, the professional loudmouth troublemakers who are funded and controlled by communists and misguided wishy-washy liberals from abroad. I am talking about the real, ordrinary Onglians who go about their lives peacefully, meaningfully, productively and happily.

My friends, it is a myth to suggest that the Onglians are being somehow held back or persecuted in New Englia. Rather, what has happened is that we have developed an effective system of allowing the two peoples, the civilised and the primitives, the Inglians and the Onglians, to develop in their two separate ways. Separate development, my friends, is essential to allowing both the Inglians and the Onglians to reach their maximum potential, to enjoy the maximum amount of freedom and to live side-by-side with each other in harmony.

Without separate development, we would have chaos. If we handed over the levers of government to the Onglian majority, we would wipe out at a stroke two millennia of progress and achievement. It would be like evicting highly-trained professional engineers and scientists from a nuclear power station and then putting a class of 8 year old schoolgirls in charge.

Terra needs to understand, as both Inglians and Onglians in New Englia understand, that the key to our nation's success is our way of doing things. Our way of doing things may be distasteful to the ideological sensibilities of some of our friends overseas, but that does not mean either that it is wrong or that it is inhumane. Rather than misunderstanding and condemning us, the rest of the world - the civilised part of it at least - should be recognising, celebrating and learning from our achievements.

New Englia earnestly looks forward to the day when the whole of the Onglian people will rise to a level of civilisational development that matches that of the Inglians. When that day comes, there will be an equal sharing of political power. But we are a long way off yet. The Onglians have come far, but not far enough yet for that. It will probably take another 2000 years of development before they are ready to become our equals.

Let me emphasise also, by the way, that the franchise in New Englia is not restricted by race or religion. Every citizen has access to the franchise on equal terms. As soon as a citizen has reached a certain level of income, or reached a certain level of education, they become eligible to vote. At the moment, 5% of Onglians can vote. This is a significant achievement - fifty years ago it was 0.5%. In time, with the natural course of events, it will grow higher still.

In short, my friends, "equality" - to use that often misunderstood phrase - will come to New Englia, but if it is to develop in a meaningful way, it can only come in a way which is natural. Any attempt to forcibly impose so-called "equality" between Onglians and Inglians in this country would totally destroy the moral and social foundation upon which our entire society is built. Any informed and responsible person who truly understands and loves New Englia would shudder to contemplate what the consequences of that would be.

Ladies and Gentlemen of The Assembly, what you have just seen before you eyes is a testimony to man's inhumanity to man. what you have also seen is man's ability to deny that which is self evident beyond the summit of doubt. it is beyond all honest doubt that the current regime of New Englia is perpetuating violations of the very principles to which all civilised nations hold dear. the assumption being made by my colleague is one not suited to rthis century. my colleague could at large be described as a racialist. you cannot claim with good conscience that you are for meritocracy and civilisation if the very restrictions implemented are those which restriction the rights of the individual in the land of his birth. I have received first hand accounts of extortion, blackmail, physical abuse, along with blatant murder. I have also heard reports from former war veterans of Onglian origin who served on the field of battle as New Englian patriots and even won decorations for their gallant service only to be told: "though you may have served this land you are nothing more than Onglian and are thus not worthy of respect as you are inferior." this kind of cynical treatment is the very reason my grandfather left Dorvik half a century ago. he had fought for Dorvik in a great war no vanished from the memory of the world. he had won two Iron Crosses and even a Cross of Honour almost thirteen years afterward. despite this he was later stripped of his citizenship because of his Yeudish heritage. it should be noted New Englia had numerous veteran organizations none of which Onglians are permitted to join for there is a clause of purity. the average Onglian has been told time and time again just as my people have been told time and time again: "you are not worthy...do please come again in few years." but you see these thing rarely happen. the fact is Ladies and Gentlemen is that New Englia doesn't want to give up the privileged status of it's settlers nor comply with the accepted definition of natural rights. Thank You!

We hereby move this high house to condem the Kazulian actions to send air and sea units into Kalopia. This does not serve the deescalation which Istalia does aim for and which we support wholeheartedly.

The Government of Beiteynu has decided to second the condemnation of those actions which in violation of the basic tenets of this organization. nevertheless Beiteynu shall declare itself to be a neutral party in these disputes abroad.

Sofia Lumbardh, Kalopian Ambassador to the World Assembly

Firstly, may I take the opportunity to thank Solentia for removing inspections in a desire for peace. This small step will go a long way to the reestablishment of stability in South Majatra.

However, unlike the Honourable Representative's nation, there are others who are - to put it politely - less set on finding peace, and who rather search for ways of increasing and expanding their own status within the region. Jakania have repeatedly refused to sit down and negotiate, never compromising, and never recognising that it is indeed their aggression that has led to this outburst of tension in the South of Majatra.

What we are confused about is the Beiteynuese government suggesting that they are neutral in this matter. Ever since they signed that first treaty with Solentia, their foot has been "stuck in it" as the saying goes. Whilst we do not believe that this is necessarily a negative action - both Beiteynu and Solentia are rightfully ambitious, as is Kalopia - it does provide incentive for Jakania to further its military funding, and provide it an excuse to further its imperialistic goals.

In the case of Kazulia surveying the situation, this is an allying providing support to a friend that has been subject to a campaign of hatred in recent years, and is helping provide defence to our nation in case the ever unpredictable Jakania decide to escalate the situation to a level at which human life would be put at risk.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the General Assembly, the position of the Government of Beiteynu is fairly complex. on one hand we desire peace and harmony as this is generally a good climate from which to conduct trade on a global scale something which is in the best interests of all and not just ourselves alone. on the other hand however we must speak up on behalf of those who have through no fault of their own doing been deprived of their liberties and private property. in other words our neutral stance is purely economic. Beiteynu has signed treaties with Solentia designed to maintain the balance of power and with that in mind our economies as well. we have no such intention of provoking unnecessary hostilities which may at any point in time hinder our growth or that of our allies growth.

Laighneach Mac Connmhaigh, General Secretary of the Onglian Civil Rights Association (OCRA) in New Englia:

Assembled delegates,

The New Englian government has forcibly seized the land of Onglian (OOC: Mainly Irish) farmers in Central Province, in order to hand it over to Inglian (OOC: Mainly English) controlled corporations. This land was seized from the Onglian people without permission and even without any compensation at all. This is not just an attack on our livelihoods and our well-being, but a callous assault upon our way of life and our heritage.

On behalf of the Onglian people, I call on the governments of the world to respond to this outrage.

Cornelius Coggeshall, New Englian Ambassador to the World Congress:

Assembled delegates,

The Republic of New Englia wishes to register its protest at the government of Beiteynu. Not only have they refused our reasonable request to extradite the Onglian Liberation Army terrorist and murderer, Uinseann Mac Giolla Phádraig, but they have also committed themselves to assist this international criminal and his criminal organisation in murdering innocent New Englian citizens. They are also making wild threats of war against us on the basis of false accusations about us supposedly targeting our own Yeudi citizens.

Terrorism is the scourge of the modern world, and as responsible sovereign governments, we have a solemn duty to stand up against it. By supporting terrorists, Beiteynu is showing itself to be clearly outside of the civilised community of nations.

On behalf of my government, I therefore call on the World Congress to condemn Beiteynu's actions and to impose a stiff series of sanctions against that country.

The New Englian government and the New Englian people have no quarrel with the people of Beiteynu, and no quarrel with Yeudis either, but we will not stand idly by whilst the Beiteynian government organises the murder of our innocent citizens.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Assembly, what we have before us is a blatant display of hypocrisy being spewed from the mouths of those responsible for instituting an artificial famine, denying aid workers from abroad the right to access famine stricken areas, and then in the worst possible way suppressing a popular uprising among the discontented masses who to this day yearn to be free from the oppression inflicted upon them by their own government. our refusal to extradite the freedom fighter who shall remain nameless was based not on our willingness to allow terrorism to go unchecked but was due to the fact that my government has no such treaty of extradition nor do we wish to pursue one at this point in time. as for the funding of terrorist organizations we have had up to date no such record of any funding ever being extended to the Onglian Liberation Army. the simple fact is that these groups as mentioned by my colleague from New Englia are works of fiction devoid of any rational basis. they were trained in New Englia by members of the police in order to provide the regime with an excuse to use aggression upon realms not their own. if any nation is to be condemned on the basis of inhumanity it should New Englia. Thank You!
