Following the coup in Suyu Llaqta which deposed the democratically elected Prime Minister Gadise Lalistu, the Commonwealth of New Englia strongly condemns the junta government and its supports and immediately calls for the release of Prime Minister Lalistu and the members of the cabinet. Additionally, we call for the return of a democratically, civilian-led administration to Suyu Llaqta and urge the international community to condemn this gross disregard for the democratic process in full. We urge the members of this council to join us in formally condemning this act as we introduce the following resolution.

REAFFIRMING our commitment to the principles as outlined in the Declaration of Natural Human Rights,

RECOGNISING that among these principles are that rights are to be applied in a politicized way leading to double standards,

RECOGNISING also that among said natural rights is the right to a government that is democratic, humane, and benevolent,

And whereas the most recent coup in Suyu Llaqta represents a violation of the Declaration of Natural Human Rights and represents a clear and present danger to peace and stability within both Suyu Llaqta and Eastern Dovani,

The Security Council shall hereby condemn the coup in Suyu Llaqta alongside its perpetrators and proponents and calls for the immediate release of Prime Minister Gadise Lalistu and the members of her cabinet and the return to stable, democratic, civilian-led rule in Suyu Llaqta.

Arier Tzafrir, Permanent Representative to the World Congress, State of Beiteynu

Dear colleagues, while we do understand the New Englian representative's concerns over the situation in their neighbouring nation, thus their proposal of condemnation, as the situation remains ongoing, we suggest a stance of observation for the time being.

We are saddened to inform our fellow SC colleagues that the government of Malivia has collapsed, resulting in a total breakdown of law and order. The Terran Remediation Agency has advised Beiteynu's HOG to respond to the situation by securing international commercial shipping routes in the Migrant's Pass. We now consider Malivia to be a hostile nation. To that end, MOD's Department of Naval Command has deployed the 3rd Flotilla.

We'll carry this sudden cost of increased defense resources to ensure that no roque elements disrupt international trade.

The Agency has also notified Selucia, Likatonia (and Kundrati) on the situation with potential remediation solutions. The government of Beiteynu is in direct contact with the Agency's headquarters in Kundrati towards gathering intelligence and increased monitoring of the situation in the broader region of Artania.

To our esteemed colleagues from Dorvik and Hutori, we ask for your opinion and feedback.

Troy Hillman (Hutori), Special Ambassador to the Security Council:

We are saddened to see the evolution of the situation in Malivia. We agree with the position of taken by Beiteynu of securing international commercial zone. We fear that direct action in Malivia might become necessary in order to maintain peace and order in the region. If ever it comes down to it, Hutori stand ready to collaborate with other nations of Terra to help resolve this crisis.
