OOC: When you vote please remember to discuss and provide reasons why you’re not voting for a proposal. These resolution proposal topics aren’t just for voting; they are separate from the main topic to avoid clutter and keep track. I ask for Cobura and New Endralon to State WHY and provide ADVICE on their votes.

”We ask the representatives from New Endralon and Cobura to provide why they voted against the resolution and provide discourse on the topic.”

Baron Rnúf Herlkasrmko Ashur, Vanukean Ambassador to the World Congress:

Mr President, I too would like to hear the objections from Cobura and New Endralon before voting definitively.

I am generally inclined to agree with this streamlining of the offices and applaud the efforts; however, while we wait for a reply from the two ambassadors, would you be able to provide a budgetary breakdown on the start up cost for this and the estimated ongoing cost, and how much of the membership budget, as a percentage, this is likely to take up?

Furthermore, could you clarify who appoints or elects the WCHRO High Commissioner and the Director-General of the WCPAFOR?

”I believe that the existing budgets of the previous organizations would provide most of the start-up costs. In terms of continual financial obligations, I believe we can amend the resolution to include a standing contribution to the World Congress Securitt Council; my proposal would be 3% for non-Permanent members paid from their Defense or Foreign Affaira budget and 2% from Permanent Members from the same.

We can also amend to state that they are appointed via Security Council Resolution.”

We believe it would be useful for that amendment to be made in regards to the High Commissioner and the Director-General, Mr President.
