I think there is a bit of confusion about the rules of the Seat E election, I would ask that everyone re-read my previous post. No voting is happening yet and if a vote does take place you will not be voting for countries but for players, this is an out-of-character process designed to ensure the Security Council seat is held by an active player and that it is reasonably regularly rotated. I would urge you to try to come to an agreement between you.

Voting has started and the deadline is the end of the day tomorrow (31 August 2020). The two candidates are QV73/Pragma (Vascania) and ChitinKal (Liore). The following players are eligible to vote.

Please state your voting intention clearly. In the event that there is a tie the seat will go to the player did not hold it previously.

Procedure for the next election.
The seat is open only to forum-based countries (otherwise known as the "Third World"). The discussions and elections are entirely out-of-character and should be conducted as such. Players who wish for their countries to stand in the elections should indicate in this thread by the end of the 22 September at the very latest. Players taking part in the election (either voting or standing as candidates) must have made at least one substantive post in the month during which the election takes place

If there is more than one country that wishes to stand, controllers should attempt to discuss among themselves who should be elected in out-of-character terms. Discussion of this kind can happen prior to the deadline for nominating yourself. If no conclusion has been reached by the end of the day on 26 September then we will have a vote. I'll confirm the details of such a vote if and when we reach that point.
