To Vascania: I think most nations are tired of having the SC made up 100% of big nations, they want someone they can relate to.
Interested in not responding to ridiculous accusations, namely from Jakania, and Lourania, and now Valruzia

As long as I am generally active on the forums, I don't see how there would be any problems with regards to activity in the security council.

As to the idea that Vascania is actually too powerful to be on the security council, I would suggest the reason powerful nations get on the security council is that they have the influence to implement decisions. Neither Hanzen nor New Alduria could realistically implement security council decisions against larger nations.

Announcement for the Clerk of the Republic (HoS-for-foreigners of the Pilese people) Nihil Jayatilleka:

The Golden Republic of Rapa Pile supports and endorse New Alduria to the Seat E of the Security Council. We want the representation of republican values in the Council.

Just a couple of reminders. The thread is entirely out-of-character so there's no need to speak on behalf of your characters. Remember also that only controllers of non-playable countries can participate in the decision-making process. I don't think there's anything wrong with other players expressing preferences but they will not be able to vote.

Then I simply just vote for John Cracker.

No voting is happening at the moment, we're still in the discussion phase. I would prefer if we were able to agree on someone to be nominated without a vote so I encourage the discussion to continue up until the 28 May deadline.

Just to give an indication of the position at the moment, currently three countries have stated an intention to stand: Vascania (QV73), Hanzen (Wu Han) and New Alduria (John Cracker). Hanzen has the support of Auditorii and Locke1342. New Alduria has the support of robmark0000. Vascania doesn't have support from another controller.

As far as I can see that only leaves Kubrick as the current controller of a non-playable country to express a preference (other than me), although Liu Che may be approved in Bianjie yet.

I agree, James

EDIT: On second thought, New Verham will support Hanzen if they give money.
