Following the 62nd Security Council elections, the World Congress welcomes members to the 62nd Security Council Session.

The elected members of the Security Council at the commencement of this term are Dorvik (A), Beiteynu (B), Likatonia (C), To be Announced (D) and Tropica (E). Elected members have eighteen months to present a representative to the Security Council or they will forfeit their position for the duration of the term and the runner-up in their seat will replace them.

I am sure that President Fionnachta will agree, we will have to pass a resolution electing either Hutori or Lourenne to the Security Council D seat. Does any member of the Security Council have recommendations, thoughts or feelings?

I would like to note that the respective parties have been contacted and we await information from said parties. If after the customary period of 18 months (which began 4 months ago) has lapsed either party expressed disinterest in assuming the seat, as per established custom the seat will move onto the runner-up. Should it be the wish of the members here, such an appointment shall be made via a resolution of the Security Council.

With the timeframe as outlined by the customs of the Security Council having lapsed, Lourenne shall sit on Seat D for the duration of the 62nd Security Council, following failure on the part of Hutori to respond to requests and queries as to their determination to contest the Seat.
