Ms. Boros Regina
Corporate Representative of the More Medicament Manufacture in the General Assembly of the World Congress

Ms. General-Secretary, we have to speak about a worrying topic about the economic situation of the Third World. Since a Third World country (I mean the Zahiri Republic of Medina) unfairly exploited and removed our company, there is a movement under progress against the First World investors and corporations, especially against the More Medicament Manufacture. Unfortunately we can see the rise of religious fundamentalism and false nationalism in the Third World what only hurting the International Diplomatic Norms and economic freedom.

We have to stop this movement what only incites, but propose nothing. There is can be close economic cooperation between Third World Nations with the staying of the First World investors, this theory is simple false and extremist. We still demands apologize and withdrawn from the Zahiri Republic of Medina as we did earlier. And we ask all of our fellow First World friends to stop this insanity what want to stop science, progress and freedom incited by outdated principles. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.

His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince Yu Xiao, Yingdalan Ambassador to the World Congress
Your Excellencies, Yingdala is concerned with the representative of 3M's statement. While Yingdala values economic freedom and maintains little regulations, we also value the sovereignty of states. If a state does not think the presence of a certain company or a specific industry is not in the national interest, then we should respect that. Of course, if a company's operations are expropriated, then that company should be compensated at market value. The Guiding Principles of the World Congress state that the World Congress and the states of Terra should refrain from interfering in the internal affairs of another state. No diplomatic norms have been violated, nor has the freedom of a state to decide its economic policies been violated.

Jennifer Morrison
Hutorian Ambassador to the World Congress

We agree wholeheartedly with His Imperial and Royal Highness. We are also deeply uncomfortable that a private corporate entity is lobbying the highest international body in the world outside of the Security Council for international nations to intervene on it's behalf to force a nation to do business with it. The Commonwealth of Hutori for example does not do business with 3M, and we would be deeply uncomfortable as I'm sure the Medinese Representative is, that a company is lobbying nations to apply diplomatic pressure on behalf of it's private and for profit interests.

Kgosi Adebayo, World Council Representative of the Socialist State of Liore

We concur with the representatives of Yingdala and Hutori. The demands of the Representative of the predator multinational known as 3M only further invigorate's my government's belief that supranationals such as the World Congress must be weak so as to not interfere with the sovereignty of the free peoples of Terra. The political and economic sovereignty of us Third World nations is of the upmost importance if we wish to enter the modern world rather than fall back into First World imperialization, and it deeply troubles us that 3M and Endralon have on multiple occasions called for First World entities to stand up to their formal slaves whenever we attempt to improve our nations.

Furthermore, we share the same sense of uncomfortability with the Hutorian Representative Morrison that a private company stands before the World Congress today to ask for the violation of the sovereignty of the people of Medina. 3M is a predator multinational corporation that has concerns only for the delivery of profit to its executives and shareholders, and cares little for the plight of the impoverished. It is our belief that no corporation should hold seat in this body, and that the World Congress should be a community of equal nations working together diplomatically.

Her Excellency, Márton Panna
Endralonian Representative to the Security Council (and General Assembly) of the World Congress

Ms. General-Secretary, just as a reminder for the Liore delegation: 3M and Endralon not the same, we have nothing to do with this action of the company. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.

Image Mr. Birtan Gozubuyuk, Jakanian Permanent Representative to the World Congress:
The Jakanian delegation echoes the sentiment already expressed here. According to what perverse framework of international affairs is it acceptable that an multi-national company should attempt to exert influence on third party states to take action against a sovereign nation? Even in the Representative's remarks she shows her disdain for developing countries. Not only does the phrase "Third World" imply that Medina is from a different world but that it is a world ranked behind the "first" world of Endralon and other Artanian countries.

Ms. Boros Regina
Corporate Representative of the More Medicament Manufacture to the General Assembly of the World Congress

Ms. General Secretary, this hate wave what our company get from some members of this Assembly I think unacceptable in an intelligent debate, but - prove that me and my company is not superior than anybody - I will react to this baseless charges.

Starting with His Imperial and Royal Highness Xiao. His Highness's comment. "Of course, if a company's operations are expropriated, then that company should be compensated at market value." Exactly, the last sentence is what we want. The Medinese Government invited us to their country to modernize their healthcare and we did the work. After it, they simply removed us from the Zahiri Republic of Medina with baseless accusations. We always respected their culture, and I do not know how we was hurting their culture, religion and identity from our pharmacies and from our few Medinese factory. 3M can ensure for every workers the largest safety conditions in Terra and largest freedom for them.
The cause why I made that statement is that we want compensation for our losses, and because we had exploited. This compensation what we want is a monetary compensation for all of our losses when we modernized the Medinese healthcare by our own. (As a compromise, this monetary compensation can be replaced by that 3M still can operating in Medina.)

For Ambassador Morrison. We denying that we lobbying in this sacred institution. Ambassador Morrison, you totally misunderstood and read off my statement. In that statement I do not wish from the World Congress to intervene in this conflict, I just used the General Assembly as a Forum to call for a First World economic unity against the emerging religious fundamentalism of some (not all!) Third World countries what fundamentalism able to destroy the free trade in the whole world. And I wait the arrival of the Medinese Representative.

To Representative Adebayo. First I have to denying that we are a "predator multinational company". You call "predator" that company (this is not self-cheering, this is facts), what saved millions of people in Terra. Maybe not just millions, but hundreds of millions. But this was just a bypass. More Medicament Manufacture is a social responsible company what always stands against racism, imperialism, inequalities. And I have to remind you (because the "to stand up to their formal slaves") that Endralon did not have colonies in the Third World.
About we have no place in this August Body. Her Excellency, the General-Secretary was clear in the beginning of this discussion: "Following the 4778 Security Council elections, the World Congress welcomes governments, political parties and other organisations to the 45th General Assembly Session." We represent the world leading healthcare company and one of the world's largest companies, so I think we totally compliance to the "other organization" term.

For Representative Márton, my compatriot. She has right. 3M is led by Endralonian people, but it is not similar with Endralon. Unlike other countries, in us the State not intervening in the trade and a corporation can be fully independent from the Government of that country where it is operating. The Chief Executive Body (what have similar powers with the always-Endralonian CEO) containing an Istalian, a Valruzian and a Deltarian person.

For Mr. Gozobuyuk. Yes we are not a state, I represent a corporation. I have to assure you Mr. Gozobuyuk, we are not anarcho-capitalists, we do not believe that corporations would be equal with states or would be larger than states. We have no corporate ideology, we see important the free trade and social responsibility. As I said it to His Royal Highness, we only want compensation for our losses.
We are never disdaining the Third World countries, it is a slander. I have to remind the Jakanian delegation that Rapa Pile was one of the founding members of the 3M, and Vascania and New Alduria is also old and important members of our company. If you give me an another term instead "Third World", then I will use that what you given me, I promise. If the "Third World" term insulting the Third World countries, then I of course won't use it anymore.

Thank you, Ms. General Secretary.

Firstly, I would like to clear something up. We are the Medinian Government, not Medinese. Thank you for your future correctness.

Secondly, we had every right to remove the corporation "3M" from our nation. The "baseless accusations" they speak of are, surprisingly, not baseless. We brought up many complaints and exploitations of our people, culture, government, and religion, and deemed it enough to remove them. And, for the record Ms. Regina, not knowing how you insulted someone's culture does not excuse you from the fact you did. On the topic of "compensation", we did the math and found that your exploitation of our workers was more than enough, even so that you should be paying us. We admit, our labour system and laws thereof were not in the most pristine condition at the time, and could have used some clarification. But 3M abused that fact and stole millions of LOD from our workers.

Thirdly, the state, the nation, of Medina should always be considered more important that the company, the organization, of 3M. This should go without saying, that a corporation should never be considered more important than a nation. A nation should always be believed before a corporation. The simple answer is that a nation exists to help its people while a corporation only exists to help its owners and profit margin. In this case, I request that 3M throw out their attempt to get "compensation" from the Zahiri Republic of Medina, before we demand compensation from them.

We would like to thank the representatives and nations that have assisted in this debate in supporting our Republic before this company.

His Imperial and Royal Highness Prince YU (OOC: Surname comes first) Xiao, Yingdalan Ambassador to the World Congress
The arguments on both sides of this issue bring to question whether either party would be interested in a neutral third party investigation. Is this something Medina and 3M would be interested in?

High Diplomatic Representative of Lodamun, Nathaniel Levitt

We appreciate the move from Indrala to protect the rights of the vulnerable citizens of Terran, but is sad how they omit the LGBT community completely, alongside the proletarians who are exploited by the upper classes. We can all day mimic that there is no LGBT, or gender minorities, but at the end their as valuable as anyone of us, calling thus the Indralan delegates to this pristine body to add to their Human Rights declaration the fact that gay community exists and deserves legal protections. Second, the proletariat represents another vulnerable part of our society, and as much as we would like to think there is no exploitation under capitalism and liberalism thought to be perfect ideology, the reality is often disappointing, a reality where the have use their property to enslave a majority of population, vulnerable, without own capital through the wage system and propagate unfair, unjust hierarchies which in return offer us a divided society where some people live at the expense of others.
