Anton Clausewitz, Chief Hulstrian Plenipotentiary to the World Congress:
Kazulia will try anything to wriggle out of negotiations. Anyone who read the reports from the Wolfsheim Conference will note that Hulstria was close to putting pen to paper and only wanted some reassurances over the ongoing security of our nation and an official time frame for the occupation of the north of our country.
However, as soon as we were closing in on a deal the Kazulian delegation starts talking about human rights violations and how they can't possibly negotiate with us... so the last seven years has been for nought and the indefinite, illegal occupation of the northern quarter of our nation continues.
What a pity they will not allow a formal peace to be declared! We thank the Istalian ambassador for trying his best but the Kazulians will not give an inch and while we are open to negotiation they have clearly stated they are not - a stance which is directly opposed to the spirit of Resolution 37 and 40 of the Security Council.
Therefore, we must look elsewhere and at other ways to provide a reasonable solution to this problem. With that in mind, we thank the likes of Beiteynu for speaking out on our behalf and will be in touch regarding assistance and advice.
