35th General Assembly Session

Postby Yolo04 » Sat Sep 14, 2019 6:50 pm

Below are the archived discussions of the 35th General Assembly Session.

Ryang Yeong-Cheol, Representative for the 2nd Kyo Empire (Dankuk) in the World Congress

Honorable delegates, I address you all today with one objective in mind. To prevent a catastrophic war in the west. Currently, a proposal in the legislative body of Vanuku has proposed using tactical nuclear strikes against Deltaria in retaliation for Deltaria’s recent nuclear test in the Majatran Sea.

Honorable delegates, regardless of your stance on the nuclearization of Deltaria, Vanuku’s plan of action is intolerable and all nations must stand firmly together to oppose a nuclear war between both countries. We all must condemn Vanuku’s plan to use nuclear strikes against Deltaria.

I now directly address the Vanuku delegation in the World Congress. The usage of nuclear weapons against Deltaria will simply lead to a nuclear war that will leave you both badly wounded, if not completely destroyed. We demand that both Deltaria and Vanuku come together and negotiate before they destroy themselves.

Finally, a message to the nation of Vanuku itself. If Deltaria is attacked by Vanuku, the 2nd Kyo Empire will, without hesitation, defend our ally Deltaria. Whether that be through naval, aerial, or ground combat or through the usage of non-conventional warfare, including the destruction of Vanuku civilian ships and aircraft and the imprisonments of all Vanukuean citizens. We will stand firmly against Vanukuean aggression and if all the other nations here support this plan, or remain silent on it, then you are all cowards who deserve to be destroyed.

Thank you

Akira Gonzales-Fuentes, Kalistani Representative to the World Congress

The Kalistani government is prepared to join Terra in denouncing the Deltarian government for their illegal invasion of Jakania and that we plan on introducing a bill which would put in place diplomatic and economic sanctions upon Deltaria, though Kalistan cannot officially take part in any military intervention in Majatra.

However the Conservative Army of Kalistan, the militia of the National Conservative Party, has requested that I offer their assistance in an international liberation mission.

The CAK can offer 5000 fully-equipped partisans and 1500 medical personnel for an international coalition force. These troops are more than capable for the mission, as they receive just as much and more training than Kalistani soldiers due to our national defense policy of maintaining a main army of regulars to be complemented by specialized partisans. The CAK is specialized in mobile warfare, and is well equipped with main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers.

In addition to this, the CAK can also offer naval and air support from the small pool of multirole jets and warships it operates alongside with the national forces.

We hope this matter can be resolved quickly and with as little bloodshed as possible.

Delegates here, I am disgusted by these discussions. When Deltaria invaded Jakania, a coalition was immediately established to combat them. However, when Kazulia unjustifiably invaded Dankuk, many nations praised them for there actions. It is clear to the Dankuk delegation that a clear bias towards monarchies is present and is blatant.

Deltaria had the full legal right to reclaim what has been, historically, there territory. Yet the World Congress will violently attack a nation for doing such things. Yet when Kazulia ripped away our two southern provinces and annexed then, no one cared and people praised them. Contrary to popular opinion, we do not wish to get involved in any war involving Deltaria. However, we shall continue to trade with Deltaria and to ensure the safety of our cargo ships, we shall be deploying them in a convoy system with several ships from Her Empresses Navy to defend them from attack. If any nation attacks them, an immediate declaration of hostilities will be proposed against said nation.

The bias against monarchies and other traditionalist powers is blatant in the World Congress and, therefore, we shall be removing our ambassadors from the World Congress. Any and all international squabbles concerning Dankuk must be brought to the attention of the foreign minister, via a states embassy.

Goodbye fellow delegates and we hope we can come back in better terms.

Shlajkai Jeztri, Vanukean Representative to World Congress:

Honourable delegates,
The ambassador from Dankuk must be deluded. To believe that Vanuku and many other nations will stand idly by whilst the 2nd Kyo Empire continues to supply the rogue Deltarian regime with war contraband, thus fuelling its murderous expansionist plans in Majatra, is simply not going to happen.
The most pragmatic approach would be for Dankuk and any other would-be ally of Deltaria to step away from this matter and understand that continuing to assist the Czar is tantamount to aiding and abetting Terra's most infamous war criminal and to propping up his nefarious nuclear ambitions.

It is my duty to inform the World Congress and members of the international coalition to liberate Jakania that a CAK taskforce is currently preparing for departure and will leave Kalistan for the island of Stormkaap within the coming months.

Astrid Olrean Hulstrian Foreign Minister Hulstrian and Gao-Soto Representative to the World Congress

It has come to my and the government of Hulstria's attention of the complete disregard for democracy and peace in Lodamun. We feel that this should get the attention of the whole assembly. Their government is going off the brink legalizing segregation, executing anyone in their way (in this case the impeachment and execution of the previous foreign minister. My country rebukes their government and their illegitimate leader and their radical parties that do this sort of utter nonsense! This is anti-democratic and frankly against civil rights.

We hope some voices of reason steps up in that country and stops this kind of dictatorship.
