Following the 4749 Security Council elections, the World Congress welcomes member governments to the 43rd Security Council Session.

The permanent members of the Security Council at the commencement of this term are Dorvik, Istalia, Hutori and Kazulia. Permanent members have eighteen months to present a representative to the Security Council or they will forfeit their position as permanent members for the duration of the term and the body will continue without them.

The non-permanent members of the Security Council at the commencement of this term are Luthori, Selucia, Indrala and Lourenne. Permanent members have forty-two months to present a representative to the Security Council or they will forfeit their position as permanent members for the duration of the term and the runner-up in their seat will replace them.

Members are encouraged to move quickly to elect an individual as the President of the Security Council, I shall chair discussions in the meantime. I wish to remind all members that the Security Council concluded the previous session discussing apparent evidence of ethnic cleansing in Bianje.

I, Helen Christoffersen has been appointed as Kazulian Ambassador to the World Congress by his Majesty King Olaf V, to represent the Kingdom of Kazulia.

I, Michael Turiano will act as a temporary placeholder Ambassador for the Istalian Empire in this august body. Because of party dissolution our Foreign Ministry is not able to function properly and choose a ambassador, I will sit here to make sure that the other members on this Council is aware that Istalia is present here and that we will observe and listen carefully on the discussions going on in this assembly, and will join those discussion fully when clear orders comes from the soon to be new Foreign Ministry. Thank you.

The World Congress welcomes the arrival of the Kazulian Ambassador and notes the decision to appoint a temporary Istalian Ambassador.

I am here to Represent Her Royal Majesty's Government and The United Kingdom of Lourenne as Royal Ambassador to the World Congress.

It is an honour to represent the Commonwealth of Hutori in this August Body.

The World Congress welcomes the arrival of the Dorvish General-Plenipotentiary, the Lourennais Royal Ambassador, and the Hutorian Ambassador. All permanent members of the Security Council have now presented their representatives, while we await the presentation of representatives from Luthori, Selucia, and Indrala.

I will continue to represent Yingdala here.

Honourable members, in recognising their drive to work towards the greater good, we wish to propose a resolution appointing the representatives from Lourenne as President of the Security Council for this session.
