Vrikodara Mahalanabis, Foreign Minister of Malivia:

Fellow delegates, I can assure the General Assembly that the Malivian government has the minor domestic disturbance from last July well in hand, and that no World Congress investigation will be necessary.

Turning to more important matters, I regret to inform this Assembly that the government of Keymon - a member of the Security Council no less - has placed a 50 million KED bounty on King Carlu, who is an honoured guest of our country. It goes without saying that this is not acceptable, either morally, politically, or legally, and is a direct contravention of the resolution against financing terrorism which was passed by the Security Council not so long ago.

It would be no exaggeration to say that the World Congress's credibility will be measured by how it responds to this situation.

Carlu Catena actively attempted to overthrow the rightful government of Keymon and, in the process of attempting to do so, brought back the institution of slavery to Keymon. Carlu Catena actively violated the human rights of tens of thousands of Canrillaise people in an attempt to destroy the government of Queen Éva.

The “bounty” placed on Carlu Catena is merely a reward for his capture and return to Keymon. Once he is rightfully returned to Keymon, he will be tried for treason and, if a guilty verdict is decided, will be executed by firing squad like the rest of the leadership of the Carluist government.

We demand that the Malivian government hand over Carlu Catena to the Kingdom of Keymon at once, so that he may face justice for his attacks on Keymonite freedom.

Image Mr. Birtan Gozubuyuk, Jakanian Permanent Representative to the World Congress:
The Jakanian delegation would like to note our total condemnation of legislation currently set to pass through the Kalopian legislature. The "National Reforms" bill supported by the new far-right government imposes policies of segregation based on gender and ethnicity. Not only is this deeply wrong it has the potential to destabilise the wider region as undoubtedly many Kalopian citizens will be forced to flee the country.

In recognition of these policies, the Jakanian government intends to pass measures to condemn the Kalopian government, end trade with the country, and relax restrictions on citizens fleeing the regime into our country. Our hope is that other governments will follow suit and that those countries currently voting for Kalopia in the Security Council elections will change their vote.
