Thank you for your concise answer, but we must ask: what's the point then? If any nation can say no, why even try? We would like for this proposal to be enforceable, for the safety of Terrans everywhere, or we'll vote against it.

Ms. General-Secretary, we support the action proposed by Jakania, but we not support its method. If we accept that law, we need strong enforcement. Let's be clear: this is the future of humanity, maybe the destruction of mankind, so we need strong, worldwide control over it. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.
As we have repeatedly made clear, the point of the World Congress should not be to pummel any dissenters into submission but to allow free nations to come together in a spirit of co-operation. In our view it is a deeply faulty attitude to say "well if we cannot guarantee total compliance, we should do nothing". The Jakanian delegation totally rejects the persistent obsession with punishing and enforcing, rather than pursuing diplomacy and partnership.
I want to make the next proposal. The Federal Republic of Likatonia is the founding and shareholder member of the More Medicament Manufacture, and we want to prevent the situations what happened with them in the future.
Resolution ##: Creation of a Supranational Trade Court
The Supranational Trade Court will ensure the property rights of every nation, corporation and person.
Every nation, corporation and person can appeal to the Supranational Trade Court.
The Supranational Trade Court will decide in violations of trade contracts.
Ms. General-Secretary, we support the Likatonian proposal. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.
I don't know even how to begin to unpack that. I'm going to ask a question point blank; did the 3M Corporation ask that you bring this forward, as you made it a point of mentioning that your nation is a Founding member and shareholder of that company.

I had a discussion with said company yes, However the consensus to bring this to the Security Council was entirely my own idea
Right. So we'll lead off this discussion. First off, we have no issues with the establishment of a Supranational Trade Court for dealing with trade disputes between nations... however why are we giving individuals and private companies, in this case very clearly the 3M Corporation, even remotely close to the same status as a national government?
Given some clarifications by the Jakanian representative, were cautiously supportive of the treaty. Were glad to see that Jakania wouldn't want to infringe on national sovereignty.
As for the issue related to the "Supranational Trade Court" we do not believe that the Security Council is the body to build this court. I think it exceeds the sort of mandate that the Security Council has. Dorvik would be supportive of such a court in its premise.
That noted however, we echo the Hutorian representatives issues.
Ms. General-Secretary, I endorse what Hutori saying. I propose that the Supranational Trade Court would decide on debates between nations. In this case, in this Trade Court Likatonia, Endralon and Vascania (the 3M-members of this August Body) would represent their shares in the company in opposition to Medina in this court. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.
