Fellow delegates,

The Malivian government has, for years now, housed the dangerous war criminal known as King Carlu. Carlu Catena formed a system of slavery that directly targeted Canrillaise people and Prisoners of War, which was in place for 2 years.

Fellow delegates, the Keymon government swiftly and effectively ended the life of Carlu Catena swiftly and with full legal representation. We will not apologize for following the laws of Keymon. However, I believe the Malivian delegate should apologize to Keymon for keeping this war criminal safe for so long.

Jumhuriat al Badara Representative Mustapha al-Jabbar:

While we are quite ignorant about procedures and protocols compared to all others addressing this Assembly, we are not entirely without some business experience, and accordingly would make two comments on the remarks of the 3M representative.

1. Normally when a business has an arrangement with another party and large sums of money are involved, the method of resolution is specified whether courts, arbitration or less likely mediation including the specific jurisdiction which is to say which nation's law applies.

2. Normally when a business lacks confidence in the method or jurisdiction specified for resolution of disputes and knows lack of payment could occur or experience dictates statistically there is risk of failure to pay, that business will seek insurance if it wishes to proceed with the transaction. Did 3M get insurance or simply take a gamble?

Kgosi Adebayo, World Council Representative of the Socialist State of Liore

The Liori delegation would like to express its frustration, though also lack of surprise, at the failure of the two resolution before the Security Council. The initial militarization of the World Congress was a tremendous mistake in the eyes of my nation, and putting this interventionist tool in the hands of the primarily western Security Council put us Third World nations in danger. We are particularly disappointed in the failure of Resolution 95, which was unanimously supported by the nations who achieved their positions through legitimate election, yet shot down by the three nations who are unjustly given the power to veto any resolution they oppose simply by the virtue of having more guns and more money than the rest of the world. These nations, namely Dorvik, Yingdala, and Hutori; have only proved that they value their own power over the equality of the nations which they do not represent. We can only further reinforce our opposition to any nation holding veto power in the Security Council, especially those who have not even been elected to their position, and reinforce our firm belief that all the nations and all the peoples of Terra are equal and ought to be treated equally.

Medina wholeheartedly agrees with our friends in Liore, the World Congress should not be a place where powerful nations get to increase their power at the expense of others, it is a place where we can resolve disputes and conflicts. Perhaps a tactical withdrawal of nations from the WC until the major powers get their priorities in line (concerning veto power) could be of use and a possible solution?

Ms. General-Secretary, the Medinian delegation have the boldness to speak about exploitation, however in this August Assembly, Medina is the greatest exploiter? Little bit ironic. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.

Image Mr. Georgios Gabropoulos, Jakanian Permanent Representative to the World Congress:
At what point do we recognise that it is totally nonsensical for a multinational corporation to attempt to lecture a developing country on exploitation? The view of the Jakanian delegation is that this company's expertise is no longer needed in the General Assembly and that they should leave immediately.

Ms. General-Secretary, is this the Jakanian "democracy" and "diplomacy"? Solve an international problem without one of the affected party? We admitted that we are not a state, not a nation, but we also have rights. I think that monetary compensation is fair and understandable. Maybe the easier way is the removing us from the General Assembly, not the debate to find the best solution for everyone, but this is not "just diplomacy", this is ignorant self-lie about just diplomacy from the Jakanian delegation. Thank you, Ms. General-Secretary.

We concur with Representative Gabropoulos of Jakania in that 3M has no place in these halls, especially when they go on lecturing the downtrodden people of Terra on exploitation. We would go farther and state that a proper World Congress ought not to have any permanent non-govenmental representatives at all, and that they're presence here should only be in the case that they are summoned.
