World Congress Delegate for Kundrati
Fellow delegates, I come to you today somewhat disappointed. We understand that Kundrati is not a very important nation. Our military is small and quite ill-equipped. Our economy is very weak and we struggle. We are not an important nation. We are not Hutori or Dorik or Yingdala or Keymon. But we still believe that this Congress should care about us. Is it not true that one of the principles of the World Congress is that all nations are sovereign and that their territorial integrity must be maintained? We understand that the World Congress does not want to send troops. But we are insulted by the fact that we were completely ignored. Over 10 million people have died. Our infrastructure is destroyed. Our nation is divided. And we were ignored. My predecessor came here twice to beg for your help. And he was ignored. This war killed him. He died trying to get this Congress' attention. Only Endralon and Liore answered. 2 countries, out of more than 80. And it is not like this Congress tends to stay quiet about civil wars. The Security Council Resolution 94 condemned Prince Carlu. We only asked for that. The condemnation of the Integralist Republic. And nothing happened. We were fortunate enough to be able to fight off both the Kingdom and the Integralist Republic. But we could have lost. Goran Botica is an extremist and him winning would have meant that a large portion of our population would have lived under a regime where there is no freedom of the press. Where minorities are persecuted. Where political opponents go missing. And we will still be forced to give him the post of governor of Riverford so we can appease him. Maybe with the World Congress' support, this could have been different. We can not know, because we were ignored. Although nothing can be done now, I ask the World Congress to review how they react to events like these so, in the future, they will suffer less than we did.
