The delegation of the Jelbic Peoples wish to express their strong opinion that the internal affairs of nations should not be meddled in. For many years the Kingdom of Wrnuke has sought to protect sovereignty across the globe and even in this case we will do so, the Republic of Selucia can decide their own course. But we also wish to reiterate to the delegation of Selucia that any further threats towards a Khaganate citizen will be strongly condemned and faced with potential measures to assure good behaviour. I am referencing the statements by the sitting government of Selucia that measures would be taken to deal with, I quote, Vanukean citizens like Daníl Hnanja. The Arch-Patriarch is still a citizen of the Khaganate and if the Selucian state sets out to bring harm upon him they will face the wrath of the Khagan himself.

Traianus Bhaskara, Selucian representative to the World Congress:

Thankfully the conflict between the Aurorian Patriarchal Church and the Senate and People of Selucia has been brought to a mutually satisfactory ending. Over the centuries the Church and the people of Selucia have drifted further and further apart so that there are few values and principles in common to the two. Under these circumstances it became clear that an amicable divorce has become necessary. Sadly, as is often the case in divorces, this separation became messier and more heated than necessary, and things were said and done that both parties would now, with the benefit of hindsight, wish to have been avoided.

Regardless, the situation on the ground now is that the leadership of the Aurorian Patriarchal Church has relocated to its sovereign territory of Ville de Saints. The Selucian government thanks His Holiness the Arch-Patriarch for his wisdom and the decisive actions he took to defuse the situation, and we pray that the Gods endow the Aurorian Patriarchal Church with Arch-Patriarchs as wise as His Holiness Thomas Justus in the future.

We wish to reiterate our thanks for the foreign governments and organizations that have shown their support to the Republic during this conflict, and we wish to reassure our critics that no harm was meant to Arch-Patriarch Thomas Justus. Had he failed to obey the government's ultimatum, my government offers assurances that the worst that would have befallen him would have been a deportation to his country of citizenship, Vanuku. It shocks us to hear that there were voices within the Church, in Selucia and abroad, clamoring for our government to martyr His Holiness Thomas Justus. The fact that there are fanatics in the Church who wish for the death of their own leader is frightening, and is an insult to the Duodecemvirate itself, who not only came to power overthrowing a Hosian dictatorship, but have worked tirelessly for almost a decade to restore democracy and civil rights in Selucia. Why would the Decemvirs, after abolishing the death penalty, violate their own laws? They are not dictators, they are a committee empowered to restore the Republic.

Alberto Chiesa, Istalian Ambassador

Colleague representatives of the Nations of Terra,
my Government would like express its concerns about the recent news came from Yingdala about their anti-satellite missile system: although we respect the right of every nation of Terra to provide for their own security and defence, we are concerned by the fact the use of such defensive system could terribly affect all the nations of the world.

We are aware the goal of such system is to impair if not totally annihilate the satellite networks of the enemy in case of war, a understandable strategic goal which, however, we cannot ignore could generate the risk that not only the satellite networks of possible Yingdala enemies would be destroyed but also the ones of neutral or even friend and allied nations of Yingdala.
And we sahll also considering the fact that there are not only satellites and other unmmanned devices in orbit but also inhabitated space stations and that manned missions are regullary conducted into the orbit.

In fact, our scientists and expertises pointed out that the destruction of Yingdala's possible enemy satellites will create a wave of debris which will going to impact with most of the artificial objects in orbit, going to create in turn even more debris which will remain there for decades if not centuries. Such massive cloud of debris will undermine even the ability of every nation of Terra to exploit Terra's orbit: too high the risk of collision sending satellites, probes and expecially manned mission in orbit or beyond the orbit.
It is easily understandable that virtually any nations of Terra will lost most of its satellites, defensive as well as civilian ones, which in turn, obvioulsy, will undermine a uncountable number of services and technological systems anywhere in the world.

The Yingdalan Authorities are aware about this litterarly catastrophic scenario and my Government things that the nations of world should be aware of this risk, should debate about this risk and maybe should work together to find a solution aimed, and we want underline this, to protect and preserve the well being and the interests of all the nations of Terra and not to undermine the defensive capabilities of this or that nation.

My government hopes this appeal is not perceived as a a specific critic or diplomatic attack against Yingdala, because any nation which detains or is developing such systems could put in risk any other nation of Terra. We are asking to wholeheartedly put our hand on our heart and put aside agoism for once, for all international community and mankind.

Thank you

Pavel D. Borosdin, Representative of the Federated Socialist Republic of Trigunia:

Trigunia is not as knowledgeable as Ambassador Chiesa of Istalia, but we do have three initial reactions:

First a question, would not battle debris in orbit operate in a detrimental manner toward the aggravation of the greenhouse effect on our atmosphere? Possibly that would depend on the extent of the debris.

Second, it seems if one is being attacked from satellites in orbit and one has the capacity to stop it, one would certainly owe its people the responsibility to do so. Accordingly, if we consider promoting agreeing on banning something, it should certainly not be limited to the capacity to defend from satellite attack.

Third, we certainly appreciate Ambassador Chiesa for raising this matter publicly.

Image Mr. Yumus Denktas, Jakanian Permanent Representative to the World Congress:
On behalf of the Jakanian government I would like to express my nation's absolute and total disgust at the Resolution currently being voted on in the World Congress Security Council. Although most of Jakania does not share the faith of the Aurorian Church, we find it totally despicable that an institution which is supposed to be a forum for cooperation has now decided to become a tool for bigoted and targeted abuse of a religious group. Likatonia, Vascania and Vanuku must act decisively to vote down this Resolution otherwise they will lose the trust of the international community in this whole organisation.

Alberto Chiesa, Istalian Ambassador

Istalia fully agrees with the Jakanian representative. We support the words by Mr Denktas not only because Istalia boast the largest Aurorian population in the world, and my Government cannot fail to represent also its interests being the Government of all the Istalians, but mainly because we cannot accept that such an organization is turned into an organization promoting anti-religious agendas. This time it is the Aurorian Church the "enemy", but who can say if in the future the Ahmadism will become the new target of such initiatives? Or the Yazdism, or the Daenism, and so on.

Regardless of what is the stance on religion of Endralon and its Government, we have to consider the fact that billions of people believe in some sort of religion and adhere to some sort of religious organization and we cannot accept such behavior, only good to ignite further conflict, so disrespectful of the most intimate beliefs of so much people aroud the world. Religions are part of the life of almost all the people of Terra and we cannot ignore this but we shall act with the necessary sensitivity.

But my government is concerned by something probably worst: we cannot ignore the fact that even the current government of Selucia recognized the fact that the previous regime acted with a quite persecutorty stance against the Aurorian Patriarchal Church in order to promote another religion. Even a very leftist and strongly secular (if not pro-atheist) political force like the one currently leading Selucia recognized the need of a totally different course to handle the situation and opposed such promotion of a religion at the expense of another one.

And, finally, we cannot but blame some of the statements made by the Endralonese representative into the SC which looked quite ridiculous: we cannot believe that Endralon's representative really said and really thought that the Aurorian Patriarchal Church asked to its believers "to find and burn the heretics". We are into 49th century for heaven's sakes! It is quite obvious that an excomunication today means that the excommunicated ones are not any more in communion with the APC.

How can we considers such statements? How cannot we consider such statements as lead by some sort of malice? Thus, we wonder if Endralon acted to genuinely solve the issue or if they have been simply led by the same fanatical persecutory stance showed by the Duodecemvires and now by the political party which inherited such fanatical stances, a party which now, without shame and even without trying to hide their extremist and untollerant positions with the excuse to "restore the republic", they are promoting to openly persecute the Hosians, to adopt a discriminatory policy against them, to deny them even their voting rights, simply asking to "crusch the APC" just because, as underlined by the current leading political force in Selucia, they are the ones these fanatics disagree with.

How cannot we think that maybe the Endralonese Government is an accomplice of those religious fanatics just in order to boast some sort of anti-religious agenda? And thus we cannot fail to express our concerns about Endralon position as member of the SC. The security council simply cannot acting so to fuel what turned out to be a feud between two religions.
And then, we formally demands to the Endralonese Government to show to the international community proof of their statements about the APC inciting murdering. But we already know, because it is clear, that the Endralonese representative based such statements on a personal interpretation of the word "excommunication" totally disconnected by what really the Canon Law of the APC says about, Canon Law which never mentions a provision for others members of the APC to murder those excommunicated. There is a great difference from murdering a person and excluding him from religious community and religious rituals, there is a great difference from burning heretics and refuse to recognize the validity of the riturals carried out by excommunicated ministries.
My Government is underlining all this not because we are like defendant of the APC but because we question the capacity of Endralon to interpret the laws, national ones, international ones and even internal ones of this or that organization, and thus we are concerned by the fact that such inability could negatively affect the works of the Security Council and undermine the goals for which the SC was created.

Thank you

Members of the World Congress,

I'm here on behalf of the new democratically elected government of the Selucian Republic. In the first place, the current government of Selucia offers its apologies for the actions of the previous rulers of the country, known as the Duodecimviri, in relation to many areas. This government has condemned and will do so when necessary the actions they carried out during their mandate, and which we hope will not be repeated.

Having said that, the Selucian government is a staunch defender of atheism and the eradication of religions on a global level. We consider all current religion institutions as an evil that affects society and makes them be blinded by the truth that is before their eyes, obviating whatever the opposite evidence is. In the same way, we have to agree with the arguments expressed by the Istalian representative in relation to the Security Council resolution: under what is currently expressed, now it is the turn of the APC. But who decides when it is the turn of each religion? What's more, why doesn't the Security Council announce a resolution condemning all religions, for their past and present crimes against human rights? Condemning a religious institution on the basis of absolutely nothing opens the door to future convictions of other religions on random and unfounded grounds. And don't misunderstood me. This government is not going to defend the APC as a religious institution, but Selucia has always been a beacon of democracy and justice, and as such, we consider that the resolutions that are approved by the Security Council must be adjusted to the law and knowingly the consequences it may have.

Kgosi Adebayo, World Council Representative of the Socialist State of Liore

Comrade representatives, I come to you with grim news of not only my nation, but of the Third World. In an act of blatant aggression towards the neutral and non aligned state for whom I represent, Vascania, a sitting Security Council member and a nation which my own people until today considered to be close friends and comrades, initiated a blockade of Liori and Medinian ports and denies our nations access to "their airspace." But for what crime? For what reason does my humble nation require such an attack? Well, I'll tell you. The evil bogeyman Liore dared to challenge Vascania for their Security Council seat, and Medina dared to vote in favor of them. In addition to this, the Vascanian government is peddling a conspiracy theory that Liore and Medina are supporting "Deltarian imperialism." Of course their evidence of this is shaky at best with my humble people, who have only recently allowed Deltarian companies to invest in our nation (along with any other nation who would ask if I might add). I don;t know about the rest of my comrade representatives, but allowing an auto factory to build factories in an SEZ isn't exactly how we'd define imperialism.

Of course, these acts of aggression are obvious attempts to intimidate and punish Liore and Medina for questioning Vascania's self-assumed position as sole representative of the Third World, and their bellicose response to our peaceful questioning of such only serves to show that Vascania is a bully to the weaker nations of the Third World, not their righteous protector. They even attempt to have their allies join in on their criminal intimidation. But know this, the mighty Liori gorilla stands strong in the face of aggression, and our people will not back down when bullies try to force us into the dirt! We will stand strong, whether it be alone, or together with fellow oppressed nations of the world, such as our Medinian brothers, or even together with the world all over who will not stand idly by and watch as Terra's powers intimidate us. So comrade representatives, will you pull together with Liore and Medina in Harambee against the Vascanian bully, or will you sit aside while our people suffer under the actions of criminals? Tunasimama kidete!

Greg Jones, Likatonian WC Representative
We totally agree with the position of Liore on this issue by taking actions to restrict a country just because they want a chance to get some political power. If the election to the SC is democratic then countries should not be economically pressured to step down.

My nation has been viciously misrepresented by the Liore delegation. We are not taking action as we have simply because they have decided to challenge our seat in the Security Council, but because they have conspired with Medina and no-doubt Deltaria to encircle and disempower the Vascanian nation. With the support of a western power, our 'friends' in the third world have built up their militaries and copied Vascania's own military developments in a clear plot to set us adrift into the ocean alone. This is the affront we cannot abide.
