To the Likatonian delegation. This is what Endralon also holds; and what the Aurorian Patriarchal Church not. Religious affairs should left to the national governments, especially if they do that kind of secular and enlightened religious policies like Selucia did.

Jacky Long, Likatonia
We hold the view that the SC should not regulate who the APC can excommunicate, we disagree with their decision but we believe the APC is within their rights, and that the SC should keep their hands out of religious affairs.

Image Ms. Rihanni Graham, General-Secretary of the World Congress:
Seko has failed to present a representative to the Security Council within the specified deadline for doing so. As a result they have forfeited their Security Council seats for the duration of the 46th Session. As the country with the next highest number of votes in their seat, Trigunia replaces them on the Security Council. I invite the Trigunian delegation to present their representative.

As surprised as we are by this turn of events, I do present my credentials as the Representative of Trigunia in the Security Council of the World Congress for its 46th Session.

Boris N. Miliukhov, Representative of the Federated Socialist Republic of Trigunia:

Trying to narrowly confine consideration to the actual issue brought before us. Anathema admittedly has been a political weapon wielded by churches as a state in the past. But how should it be used?

Churches sincerely believing some of their own have strayed from their notions of the true divine doctrines have declared individuals outside of and no longer part of their religious community. Fair enough. One can hope these churches do not (still )have access to burning heretics at the stake but casting them out of community is what one would reasonably expect of the very doctrinaire. (Indeed even socialists act on these urges.)

The actual anathema appears to have been directed toward certain Aurorian clergy and hence their flocks caught between the political demands of their government and the political demands of their church rather than directed toward the government with which the church was in conflict. We agree with the Representative of Likatonia this is not to be approved. We agree with the Representative from Endralon it is to be condemned.

As to a remedy, neither governments nor religious institutions actually survive because of their martyrs but because they learn to adapt to circumstances. Even we socialists can see obvious easy compromises available. Surely it it is time to call in a neutral mediator. We do not refer to ourselves.

I think my proposal about this is quite acceptable. Read it again please. In this case, the Security Council should side with Selucia, and recognize its national and religious sovereignty; and condemn the APC because it is trying to destroy this national and religious sovereignty. After this, we could call for a neutral party, but if we won't do it, won't accept my proposal, we will be remembered as monsters and collaborators, who let the Auroran Patriarchal Church to regain its medieval power.

If the APC is truly trying to take down sovereignty then they will fall trying to do it without a SC over-reach, let them fall on their own. Like the Trigunian rep siad, churches have every right to cast out their members, we do not approve of this action and believe it to be wrong, but let nations and the people decide what to do, let the APC show their true colors, they will fall soon enough. While this action of theirs is wrong, we have to ask ourselves, should everything that is wrong or immoral be illegal? I believe gay marriage to be immoral, but it shouldn't be illegal. We are a body used to keep peace and up hold international law, when Likatonia and Davaston voilated Telamons borders, that was wrong, and illegal, so the SC rightfully dealt with it, what the APC did was wrong, but not illegal, therefore its not the SC job to handle it.

With all respect to Likatonian delegation, it was one of the worst arguments I've ever heard. I do not care about morality, I think the entire existence of the APC is immoral - but I do not care about morals. We have to understand that this isn't a moral question, this is definitely a legal question. (A little proof for this is that the APC hired a legal representative to defend it in the World Congress General Assembly.) What is currently the Auroran Patriarchal Church doing is rebelling against the decision of a legitimate and recognized Selucian government. Not questioning it, not criticize it (what'd be OK, because the freedom of speech), but rebelling against it, and intervening in the legislation of a sovereign nation.

The largest proof that it is doing it that the APC incites rebellion the Selucian Hosian population, what is easily could recognized as inciting murdering, what I think should be illegal in all countries of the world, and in the majority of them I guess it already is. I repeat, the APC incites the Selucian Hosian population to broke the laws of their nation, what easily could resulting violence.

I think we should act right now, and condemn the APC. Especially to the Trigunian Representative, condemn it, but not intervening in it with the Peacekeeping Office or in another executive ways.

I see your point and retract my previous statement, but they are defying Selucain law not international ones, so its Selucias problem, they may be encouraging rebellion, but unless they are actively participating in an actual rebellion it is a domestic issue that should be solved domestically.

To the Likatonian delegation, to be clear, we do not want intervene in this conflicts, except a few words. We wouldn't enforce the Selucian laws, as you said, we let them to do this. Only what we propose is a decisive statement from this August Body, that we condemn the APC's illegal activity and recognizing Selucia's national and religious sovereignty - and thats all, nothing more.

And the cause of this is that the Security Council always should be in the right side of history. We are the beacon of legality and civilization all across the world, we shouldn't let the APC's illegal activity without a statement with few words. And that is all we proposing.
