Kgosi Adebayo, World Congress Representative of the Socialist State of LioreComrade representatives, as you have doubtless heard, the situation of tension and conflict in Mina has deteriorated to the point of civil war, and the Minese people have erupted into a state of political violence. Though all war and violence is to be denounced and avoided, this conflict is of particular importance to Liore, as it has erupted in a nation on our borders, and we are doing all that is possible to assist with the situation and secure the safety of our own people. We have accepted thousands of Minese refugees, and have begun a humanitarian occupation of the historically and ethnically Liori-Kitembo Nefa region in order to protect our brothers and sisters in the region. But despite our efforts to assuage the suffering, civil war continues to burn in Mina and the Minese people continue to suffer. My government has sent me here today to bring these issues to the forefront of the Security Council, and to seek support from the World Congress and the international community for our humanitarian efforts of keeping the peace in Nefa, and in caring for Minese refugees. We are seeking a condemnation from the Security Council of the civil war in Mina, and for material aid to be distributed to the Minese refugees we have accepted.
Liore thanks our international comrades for hearing our words, and awaits a response from fellow members of the Security Council.
