Tanith Bekerbaal, representative of the Republic of Sadaria to the World Congress:

Honored representatives and colleagues,

It is my honor to be the first representative of the Republic of Sadaria to the World Congress. Under the Constitution of the Senate and People of Selucia, the constituent Republics, namely Sadaria, Aquilonia, and Oleria, have the right to send their own representatives to this body, and in this capacity I address you regarding an urgent and concerning matter.

Recently an international treaty was signed that grants sovereignty to a theocratic and anti-democratic entity. The nations of Rildanor and Kanjor signed the Charter of the Ville de Saints which formally grants recognition as a sovereign city-state to Ville de Saints. Although as sovereign subjects of international law Kanjor and Rildanor can sign whatever treaties they wish and transfer their sovereignty to whomever they wish, Sadaria fears that the government structure of the new sovereign city-state violates international law, particularly Security Council Resolution 100 and Security Council Resolution 103. The Charter of the Ville de Saints grants a particular minister of religion, the Patriarch of Canrille, absolute dictatorial power over the city-state, effectively turning it into a totalitarian theocracy, under the joint protection of Kanjor and Rildanor. Under the terms of SC103, states that restrict the religious rights of their citizens violate international law. Certainly a theocratic dictatorship qualifies as a state restricting the freedom of religion of its citizens, and therefore we call on the international community and especially the Security Council to take action against this theocratic city-state, and against the nations of Kanjor and Rildanor that have brought it to existence and protect it with their armed forces.

Alex Mariv, representative of the World Congress for the Deltarian Federation

Fellow representatives. We would like to use the the announcement of this new session to immediately adress a situation. The Security Council of the World Congress is meant as a place for civil discussion, a important body that should be an example for the world. Instead the Endralonian representative has used racist remarks against our Liore colleague saying that he is "uneducated", asking them to return to the "Third World" and not behaving in a "cultured way". In the eyes of Deltaria this is unnaceptable and not worthy of a member of the security council. We pride ourselves on our civilized way of dialogue and our respect for different cultures. Endralon has however shown that its only interest is its own corporate interests and that they are more then happy to insult other people's in a racist and xenophobic way. Deltaria also criticizes its Liori friends for letting the discussion escalate and would have thought they knew better as a SC member. But, above all, we condemn the remarks made by Endralon and would therefor formally ask it to be suspended from the Security Council. A country that insults and divides a entire continent cannot serve in the Security Council in name of those countries.

Antipho Luzi
World Congress delegate for Kundrati

Quite frankly, the delegation of Kundrati has a problem with both the delegate of Endralon and the delegate of Liore. The Security Council is a place for resolving conflict going on in Terra. I urge Endralon and Liore to send new delegates, as the current ones are wasting valuable time with their senseless bickering.

Grand Director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Second Directorial Republic of Endralon

Respected Chamber!

It hurts me to see that the World Congress Security Council became a place of insulting each other, but frankly, we have to see, that the Liori Representative started the entire thing, even if Ms. Zobor let herself to controlled by her emotions in the end, as a reaction for permanent provocation. As my delegate, she is a great expert of solving diplomatic problems, this is why I won't recall her or support her suspension. In the next speech, I will proving why she was right, and however, we condemn her emotional collapse at the end of the debate (hopefully, the end), we still need her as a world there.

First of all, some statistics. The Liori Representative called four times 'corporate puppet' both Ms. Zobor and the entire Endralonian government, without showing any recognized, famous and complex sociological researches on the Endralonian society. The Liori Representative offended our nation and our land, and I will propose to the respected Directoire of the Directorial Republic to officially forbid for him to enter Endralonian soil. Before that, we are sure that directly, he made a man-chauvinistic comment on her, calling her 'Ms. Réka', what is her first name. This is important because in Endralonian culture, man-chauvinistic people used this term of calling women representatives not in their family name, but in their first name to showing that they're still women (who based on their opinon wasn't worthy to represent), and as a sign of superiority of men. After Ms. Zobor made clear that it is an offense, the Liori Representative refused to apologize. We can be sure that the man-chauvinistic, offender and anti-peace Liori Representative's fault is this entire conflict, and Ms. Zobor emotional collapse however deserve to be condemned, but based on our opinion, not enough to make her leave.

Also, important to comment, that she only called that one person, named Mr. Neema Oyenusi an 'uneducated person', who cannot debate in a 'cultured way', and asked the EDUCATED and CULTURED Liori people to order him back to his country, because based on her opinion, he only makes hate and populism on the Security Council. We also have to say that we are really thinking that we will ban forever the current Liori President as well from our soil, regarding that he called our entire nation 'foul'. Until that moment, we call our nation of Terra, who believes in equality of women and sovereignty of peoples to ban Mr. Neema Oyenusi from their lands.

Thank you!

Image Mr. Afshin Manesh, Aldegarian Permanent Representative to the World Congress:
The attempt to defend the comments from the Endralonian representative in the Security Council are extremely disappointing and are particularly pathetic for their attempts to portray the reactionary, neo-imperialist regime in Endralon as the victim of some kind of discrimination. Not only does the Aldegarian delegation for the immediate recall of the Endralonian representative but we would implore all countries to take action to ensure that Endralon's long-term attempts to undermine and dismantle the Security Council are not allowed to succeed by ensuring they are not re-elected in the next term.

The Aldegarian delegation would like to draw the attention of the General Assembly to the proliferation of nuclear weaponry with respect to Security Council Resolution 97. Many countries have not implemented the provisions of this resolution at the domestic level and we would encourage all parties to do so.

In particular though we would like to note that at least four of the incumbent members of the Security Council have not committed to the implementation of the resolution. At present we have been unable to discern the legislative status of nuclear weapons in Liore. All members of the Security Council should immediately take measures to formalise their affirmation of the principles outlined by Resolution 97 and other countries should follow their example.

Neema Oyenusi, World Congress Representative of the Socialist State of Liore
Comrade representatives, it is the opinion of the Liori government that nuclear weapons are a tool of great powers to impose their will upon weaker nations through coercion, and even worse that they are a threat to the survival of the human species. We thank the Aldegarian representative for bringing the issue of Liore's not having taken any formal action to come into compliance with Resolution 97, the possibility of Liore creating, storing, or using nuclear armaments has not yet been entertained by our politicians and nobody in our government has any wish to bring these weapons of mass destruction into our possession.

My nation's Premier Otieno Falana has instructed me to inform the World Congress that legislation officially prohibiting the creation and storage of nuclear armaments within Liore and their ownership and use by the Liori government is currently being drafted and will soon be proposed before our People's Assembly. We whole-heartedly encourage our comrades in the Security Council and across Terra who have not done so already to initiate their own legislative processes to do the same.

The Aldegarian delegation thanks the Liori delegation for their swift action and principled stance on the issue of nuclear non-proliferation. The other members of the Security Council should live up to the good example set by their Liori colleagues. To this end, we propose that all countries who respect the World Congress and Resolution 97 should ratify the International Agreement on Nuclear Non-Proliferation.

Chen Qing Fu, Yingdalan Representative to the World Congress:

The economic calamity caused by the lack of economic control in Deltaria has thrown the world into a crisis. Many nations, just like Yingdala, have seen a rise in unemployment, decline in gdp and a near-collapse in the market. That is why Yingdala believes that the Security Council should affirm and recognize the World Congress' jurisdiction over global governance. While Yingdala may not have a seat on the Security Council, we urge any SC member nation to adopt the World Congress in Global Economic Governance Resolution that the Chin Administration has drafted. We recognize that every nation plays a vital role in the economic affairs of another and without global economic governance, "The Great Fall of 4855" will happen again. Yingdala's economy is depended upon by over two billion people in Dovani. We need to solve integrated socio-economic problems to foster balanced growth and sustainable development that is sustainable, inclusive and equitable, and we must reinforce frameworks to mitigate inequality. I as a member of the General Assembly do not have the power to propose resolutions. That is why I urge the members of the Security Council to take this crisis seriously and consider adopting the draft resolution.

This draft resolution creates a World Congress organizations: the Terran Monetary Relief Fund. We recognize in the Grand Union that many third-world countries are negatively impacted by this economic crisis. Furthermore, we recognize the need of immediate financial aid that isn't readily available. The Terran Monetary Relief Fund would provide financial aid to third world countries and other developed countries who seek immediate financial assistance where none is made available. The World Congress is a place where all nations may find an ounce of hope in a dark and desolate world. Providing resources to countries where all hope is lost is a job that the World Congress should and must provide. The Terran Monetary Relief Fund may also serve as Terra's safeguard from another economic crisis by monitoring member nations economic and financial policies. With this measure in place, we can be sure that another crisis as the one we face today will be a thing of the past. We understand that we can't guarantee no economic crisis, however, we can guarantee that an economic crisis on a massive scale never happens.

The World Congress in Global Economic Governance Resolution should serve as a model for all member nations when it comes to interconnected economic partnerships and transparency. Members of the Security Council, we ask that you consider this resolution as the world faces an economic crisis.
