This resolution is not pointless, it is helping the administration of the World Congress to become more transparent. Let's for example say that all World Congress documents shall be on ALL languages of the World Congress. Since the grammatical and other differences of every cultures and languages, it is impossible to clearly say the same thing in all of those documents, which will result in minor, but significant differences in the texts and meaning, that could open loopholes for corruption and non-transparency. One single language used to these documents could easily solve this problem, with ONE text and ONE meaning, that will universally state what the World Congress meant with specific moves and actions.

Luthorian, as being one of the most expanded languages, and spoken significantly on all continents, furthermore being a popular second language choice for people, is totally competent to take this task. The accusations of making Luthorian the "language of Terra" and putting it to a position of "superiority over the languages of hundreds of millions of other humans" are clearly ridiculous. We are only speaking about the language of the OFFICIAL and FORMAL World Congress documents, that will be protected here in Whale Islands; we are NOT even speaking about forcing the Representatives here to speak Luthorian, they will continue to speak their own languages, like I do now, and the good translation system will connect our words. But World Congress documents need to clearly and universally state things, as I already pointed out.

Fellow Representatives, I believe that all cultures and nations are equal. But to PROTECT that equality, we must not allow this institution to create loopholes that will be used against those very same cultures and nations. I urge You, to vote yes on this, and with transparency and unity, bloom this planet we all so admire!

I do too believe that these matters are irrelevant right now, and frankly it is appalling as well that we put a language above other. We should go back focusing on appointing someone to chair these discussions first, then onto important matters.

We propose the next political leadership for our term in office, with the goal to make our attention return to more pressing matters (like our proposal) as soon as possible.

This proposal was made by the spirit of the World Congress Security Council Resolution 111.

World Congress Security Council Resolution XXX - Appointment of the President

The Security Council,

ACKNOWLEDGING the commencement of the 53rd Security Council Session;

RECOGNIZING the need to have political leadership on the Security Council;

APPOINTS former General-Secretary of the World Congress Akkin Bal to the position of President of the Security Council for the 53rd Security Council Session;

EMPOWERS the new President to appoint the following individuals to leadership positions in the World Congress;

Christine Källström (Davostan) to the position of Director of the Department of Security Council Administration;

Marvin Sanford (Lodamun) to the position of High Commissioner of the World Congress Human Rights Office;

Auni Buhari (Liore) to the position of Director-General of the World Congress Peacekeeping and Assistance Force;

Gál Anna (Endralon) to the position of High Commissioner of the World Congress Budget Office.

World Congress Security Council Resolution XXX - Warning

The Security Council

RECOGNIZING, the value of human life;

RECOGNIZING, the validity of the World Congress Security Council Resolution 110, which prohibits armed conflicts between World Congress member-states;

ACKNOWLEDGING, that there is a serious possibility of war in the "Greater Malivia" conflict, as Malivia firing on Narikaton and Darnussia's territorial waters, Hobrazia increases border security and Aloria moving ships to the Artanian Sea;

WARNS Malivia and all affected countries in the conflict that the World Congress Security Council will NOT allow armed conflicts using its right given by Resolution 110, hence all armed operations in the conflict will be seen as the violation of international law; and that will result in serious sanctions.

While we do not have an established experience of writing resolutions, we have a great proposal for our dear SC members and as well our fellow GA members as well! Our serene and celestial delegates have offered their intent toward efforts for preventing climate change. For this, our resolution will institute a special institution designed to enable nations access to vital funds for green efforts. While details are not yet drawn, we do think that 1 billion LODs as a fund treashold is a good start, with each state member of WC paying a small fee to sustain the WCGD. On further notice, upon discussions, we may add as well that in the future this organization can as well get to coordinate major green energy projects between multiple nations or even offer specialists to guide design efforts toward better green techniques and technologies. What do fellow SC members think of this?

Resolution 117 - Green Energy Initiative

ACKNOWLEDGING the importance of fighting climate change as a threat to humanity and Terran as a whole;

RECOGNIZING the need of human action to fix climate change, through conversion to green energy;

EMPOWERS the Security Council to institute an organization directed at helping efforts toward ecofriendly economies;

STATING that the new organization shall be called World Congress Green Department and be funded via the help of all World Congress members;

WORKING toward a more ecofriendly society via funds opened to nations interested into abandoning fossil fuels
