The Security Council,

Acknowledging that the mobilisation of naval forces represents an attempted projection of military force,

Recognising that peace and stability in the Majatran Sea is the responsibility of Majatran countries and not foreign powers,

Condemns the Kazulian decision to deploy naval forces to the Majatran Sea as a hostile act of military aggression intended to provoke regional tension;

Urges all countries to apply pressure to Kazulia to withdraw the Fifth Fleet from the region with immediate effect.

This is truly a sad day for Security Council. Petty nations beginning tireless crusades against a nation who is doing nothing but aiding a long time ally. Surely this is only a platform for pretentious members to impose their anti-imperalist propaganda which of course, is only fueling the fires of tension.

Let it be known that the United Kingdom of Lourenne votes NO on Resolution 91 and will pursue further action should this useless resolution pass.

Recognising that the Jakanian Representative has demonstrated declare intent to be overtly aggressive to the Kingdom of Kazulia. Having expelled diplomatic staff and on a clear path to cut diplomatic channels, the chances of a military miscalculation are increasing. In championing diplomacy over aggression, the Jakanian representative has become victim to own hypocrisy. Instead of genuine, peaceful talks similar to what we intend on having in Romula in the coming weeks, we were met with staunch aggression in the form of a provocative military exercise. As stated our intentions were simple but the Jakanian Representative and company sought to use this an opportunity to establish spheres of influence. We stated that the 5th fleet's deployment was rotational, however, some members viewed this a permanent basing of the 5th Fleet. Such a conclusion is expected especially as it comes from representatives with a small talent for misinformation. We do not intend on gracing this resolution with a further response. In recognising the similarity of the Jakanian representatives and company and CARSS, we VETO Resolution 91. We intend on working in the interests of global peace in exercising our rights under MOOTW and Freedom of Navigation as do all states. We will continue to show restraint where the Jakanian representative and company will not; We will continue to demonstrate professionalism in the conduct of our business where the Jakanian representative and company have not; We will continue to work with our partners in all region in accordance with our pre-established treaty agreements.

Colleagues,
Istalia consider such a resolution as useless to solve the situation and indeed it could only worse the relations. Believing in diplomacy it was our duty as great power of Majatra to invite Kazulian representatives in Romula to find a solution, immediatly informing our friends of Deltaria and Jakania.

What was accertain by our legal expertises is that the arrival of the fifth fleet and the excercises with Kalopia are actions supported by agreements between two sovereign nations, aka Kalopia and Kazulia, linked by international bilateral agreements which should respected as will of two sovereign nations.

But we are also sure that no threat will come for Majatra from the Fifth Fleet of Kazulia, which recently we knew it will not include its aircraft carrier, a gesture by part of Kazulia which Istalia recongnize as an intelligent measure to appease such tensions. For this we thanks the disponibility by part of the Kazulian authorities. Furthermore we have been reassured that there are no provision about a permanent presence of such forces.

We are sure that through adeguate talks these tensions can be solved without too hard measures like a SC's resolution.

Honourable Representatives,

The Hanzenese delegation wishes to register its intention to abstain with regard to Resolution 91.

While we deeply respect the concerns of the Jakanian delegation with regard to Kazulian escalation in Majatra, we do not feel that the 5th fleet deployment constitutes a breach of international law or practices for the reasons raised elsewhere in debate. Nonetheless, our decision to abstain should not be viewed as an endorsement of Kazulia's global power projection, nor the pompous language of the Lourennais Ambassador who refers to our developing nations as "petty," and beneath them.

Yet again, the Jakanian delegate has displayed his arrogance towards international diplomacy. It has always been the right of all nations to operate within international waters and to station naval vessels in allied waters.

As our above statement displays clearly, we will vote NO

With the greatest of respect to the Jakanian delegation, we find ourselves siding with the Hanzian Delegation. This naval exercise was done with the full consent of the Kalopian government of the time, at no time was international law breached as no nation's EEZ was breached by the deployment of the 5th Fleet. While provocative, if done with the consent and support of the Kalopian government as it was well within the rights of Kazullia and Kalopia to do so.

The Commonwealth of Hutori votes No on Resolution 91 and adds our Veto to the list.
