SC R62: Action in response to the situation in Jelbania

Resolution 61
Let NK be the Northern Khaganate and KK be the Katonid Khanate
The Security Council
DETERMINED: to deter a peak in hostilities which may subsequently lead to a spark of conflict within Jelbania and the larger region,
CONCERNED: by the non-impartiality of the forces of intervention within Jelbania in the form of those in support of the Northern Khaganate and the Katonid Khanate,
CONCERNED: by reports of civilian casualties at the hands of intervening forces within Jelbania western regions,
DEEPLY CONCERNED: by reports of fighting between the Katonid Khanate and local forces in the southern regions of Jelbania, and the movements of forces to the respective borders as it pertains to the Katonid Khanate and the Northern Khaganate
TROUBLED: By news of the introduction of the Jeztrid Blue Horde into the situation,
Does hereby move to implement measures to further prevent a spark in large-scale hostilities between the various factions and intervening forces involved,
The Security Council does hereby issue the following mandate,
- That all nations shall cease their efforts to sell and supply the Katonid Khanate and the Northern Khaganate with aircraft and materials, including munitions, military equipment, spare parts and combat training.
- That all nations comply with the aforementioned provision of this resolution and take full responsibility for their actions in being in non-compliance with the resolution, especially its provisions against the arming of the Katonid Khanate and the Northern Khaganate and should be prepared to accept the repercussions of their actions.
- That the World Congress establish an observation/monitoring committee aimed at ensuring international compliance with the resolution and which will work to discover ways by which the implementation of the embargo can be enhanced.
- That the World Congress Security Council shall continue to monitor the situation as it develops in hopes of implementing increased measures to prevent the boiling over of hostilities.
