Security Council Resolution 25

The Security Council,

RECALLING its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security,

RE-AFFIRMING that trafficking in persons entails the violation or abuse of human rights and is a crime against humanity,

CONDEMNING Eilomax, their operations, their staff, their investors and their customers,

RECOGNISING that trafficking in persons can be for the purpose of various forms of exploitation, including exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs,

Does hereby condemn, in the strongest terms, all instances of trafficking in persons.

Does call upon all nations to take decisive and immediate action to prevent, criminalize, investigate, prosecute and ensure accountability of those who engage in trafficking in persons.

The Security Council does hereby issue the following mandate;

-We hereby authorise the creation of the World Congress Anti Slavery Office (WCASO); to investigate, disrupt and dismantle networks involved in trafficking in persons.

-WCASO shall consist of 5,000 staff employed by the World Congress. Their shall be a High Commissioner of the WCASO appointed by a majority of the Security Council, for a single term not exceeding 20 years. The first High Commissioner, appointed from January 4240, shall be Giorgia Pellegrini of Istalia.

-WCASO shall be funded through contributions of all Security Council members for the duration of their terms on the Council; 20% per member. A decade long budget will be submitted by the High Commisioner of the WCASO every 10 years detailing the funding required, to be approved by the Security Council.

-WCASO shall have the power to censure any company, person, nation, organisation, body or group which participate, authorise, allow or facilitate the trafficking of humans.
