Majatran Sea: The recent nuclear test by the Grand Empire of Deltaria in the majatran sea has left its marks on the inner ocean of the continent. The nuclear test was conducted 2 weeks ago and its effects have already been showing themselves greatly. Scientists have entered the area in which the test was conducted with special equipment to protect themselves but also measure radiation levels, which were according to the report "extremely high" confirming that the test was much stronger then any previous deltarian nuclear test. But the scientists were not only there to measure radiation levels. Alarmed by the effects of the previous test in the majatran sea, which left its marks on nature for years to come, the scientists looked for effects on nature in the affected area and what they discovered was catastrophic.
After conducting several tests they came accross dead whales, fish and other animals. When they roamed the sea with a underwater camera the scientists found hundreds of dead plants and sea animals scattered accross the bottom of the sea with many more drifting accross the sea itself. The water also reported immense radiation levels, likely the cause of the mass death of these animals and plants.
The great amounts of plantlife in the area for which the majatran sea is partially known for has been reduced by a astounding 78% according to the scientists, creating a massive environmental disaster as animals that did survive the detonation are now left with virtually no food to live off, likely causing more death amongst fish and other sea animals.
Dozens of environmental organizations have condemned Deltaria for the test and the World Congress Environmental Control Panel or WCECP has also condemned Deltaria, stating that "its actions have caused one of the greatest environmental disasters of the decade" and calling on its government to "take full responsibility"
Many expect other international reactions to follow.
